Dear Dr. Dobson,

First of all, I would like to say that I am a person who has a  great respect for you. The Lord has instructed me to contact you over a very important matter.  This matter is concerning God’s will on the homosexual marriage issue. About 8 years ago the Lord revealed to me a crucial piece of information that caused me to perceive homosexual marriage from a different perspective.  Yourself and most of the Church are looking a homosexual marriage from a wrong perspective! Through this brief letter I will prove my case.

I am a strong Christian and am neither a supporter nor against homosexuals. I am a person who has surrendered his will to God on all matters as I have come to realize that the One who made this world is wiser than Solomon, and always knows what is best.

God has enlightened me with special wisdom on this subject of homosexual marriage (and other matters as well). This is wisdom that the Church has overlooked - as I also had overlooked - until God pointed it out to me several years ago. What’s more, you will find that everything I am about to say to you on this subject is totally in line with the Word of God!

Since Focus on the Family is one of the organizations which is leading the charge to stop homosexual marriage ... I believe in your wisdom that you will consider the things I am now imparting. . .if I can but get you to read this essay!

Begin: About eight years ago I was a part-time massage therapist on Venice Beach, California, and part-time street preacher. While engaging in my massage occupation, by Divine Providence, two ladies came to me desiring massage, and afterwards they also invited me over to their home to give them more treatments. Upon going to their home I discovered that they were lesbians. I had never gotten close to a couple living such a lifestyle as this. These ladies treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. They came to realize that I was a spiritual fellow and they asked me how the Lord felt about homosexuality. I told them what the Bible says about it. I felt very sorry for them because I knew what God's Word says about homosexuality.

As it turned out one of the couple was a citizen of either Australia or Tasmania (I can’t remember which) where they both went to get married. Evidently that country honors homosexual marriage. When they returned to America they informed me that they were now married. That night, during prayer, I was in my motor home and I thought of them. Then I experienced a most unusual thing. A holy light entered my motor home and permeated it with Divine Love! It was the Lord. Without use of human tongue, He enlightened me on this matter and He gave me the message I am about to impart to you.

I learned that God was pleased that the two lesbians got married! Yes, very pleased!!! It was revealed to me that God would rather they be married. Note, however, that God never told me that He either approves or disapproves of their sexual activities.

Why then would God rather they be married? Because marriage is commitment and commitment is love - and as we all know, God is love. GOD IS IN FULL SUPPORT OF THE LOVE ASPECT ... but the Church has mistakenly come against this love aspect! (example: As we Christians know King David and Jonathan had a deep love for one another and this was not a sin!)

My question to you is this: Will the church’s opposition to homosexual marriages stop or even decrease homosexual activity from occurring? We all know the answer to that question is no. The church’s opposition to homosexual marriages will just hamper the love part. . . that is all it will do! Therefore, God prefers that the homosexuals get married because it will increase the love part!

As you well know, the Bible tells us that the letter killith, but the spirit givith life. In this respect, the Church is following the letter of the law, not the spirit of the law. (If you will, I can show you other areas that the Church is making a similar mistake).

Again, God didn't revealed to me anything concerning the sinfulness of lesbian sex - whether it is right or wrong. However, this is my personal view: Perhaps God never revealed to me anything on this matter because a small percentage of people are born homosexual and for them its allowed? I don’t know. Many years ago I knew a homosexual man - a man who even dressed like a woman - who confided in me that as long as he could remember he sat on the toilet like as woman does when he urinated.

Nevertheless, I fully agree that the homosexual agenda is evil. I also agree with your teachings concerning rearing children and how we ought to "save our no's." In the same way that we may be too strict with a child which tempts that child to rebel, perhaps the Church's strictness against homosexuals has "strengthened their resolve" thereby helping the homosexual agenda? Perhaps we also ought to "save our no's" when dealing with homosexuals? Its essential for the Church to distinguish between the love aspect between homosexuals and the sexual aspect.  It clearly God’s will that the Church remain strong in its stand against homosexual sex, but cease to oppose to their uniting in love and commitment in the eyes of the law. Through that encounter with God I am convinced that is what the Lord desires.

My request is that a prayer group is assembled from your ministry to pray over what I have just revealed to you. . . anything less would be irresponsible (Am I the only one with common sense?)

You must form a prayer group to pray about this because if I am speaking the truth about this issue the Church is acting against God! An assembly of your prayer warriors praying over this matter will certainly reveal God's will.

Sincerely, Daniel Rosenblit
