Amazing Love, how can it be that you my king would die for me?

Love is a strong word. Sometimes we take it for granted. But what is love truly? “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud, It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”(1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

I’m writing this all out to share the love of God with you. Please take a minute to read this, you have nothing to lose, but you may have something to gain. I have experienced something so great, and I would like you to experience for yourself. God is a God of love not of hate or anger. He showed us love by sending his only son, so that we may spend eternity with him. Sometimes we might think “If God loves us so much, then why did he bring pain to the world?” Read the verse again, but replace “Love” with “God.” Love does not bring pain, and neither does God. Pain is from the works of the enemy, trying to bring us down, crush us, destroy us so that we may not believe in God, and so that we may suffer. That is when we need to trust in God the most, because he is the only one who can save us from the works of the enemy. Again notice that in the above verse, that each phrase describing love, describes it in action, and that’s what God did, he SHOWED us his love. I didn’t really quite fully understand what it meant that Jesus died for us, but then I learned that before Christ died for us it was by works that people got into heaven. Once Christ died for us, it was like our sins were hung on the cross, and Jesus bore our sins, and carried our burdens, so that not by works alone, but by the grace of God that we may enter into eternity with him, and live a life of freedom. you hear that? We became FREE!. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to SAVE the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned...” (John 3:16-18)

Sometimes its hard for people to believe that living a Christian life is easy, I don’t blame them. They look at it and see a bunch of do’s and don’ts that they have to pursue, and a life almost in chains. That’s the way I saw it too, I thought it was too tough and too hard, and it just wasn’t for me, it was for the people who grew up in a “perfect” Christian home, living a “perfect” happy life. I was wrong, totally wrong. “It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galations 5:1) You’re probably thinking right now, “that doesn’t sound right, Christianity isn’t about freedom.” I’m here to tell you that it is. We became free from bondage, depression, sin, and all the bad things of this world brings. God wants us to serve him, not for his own sake but for ours, he is just waiting with open arms till we come and say I’m back Daddy. He wants to free us from hurt, and this cruel world. He wants to show us his love, and that he cares, he’s just waiting for us to come to him with open arms back. God doesn't want us to sin, not because he doesn't want us not to have fun, but because he doesn't want us to get hurt by the consequences of our sins. God gave us a choice of what life we want to live, he’s just waiting for us with compassion to make the right choices. I experienced for myself that once I gave everything to God, and let him be in control of my life, I found that I didn’t have a desire of living a sinful life, God took it away. I found that he replaced the things that I thought I couldn’t never let go of, with more wonderful and amazing things. Some of you may be thinking “this isn’t for me, God could never love me. I’m a sinner, nobody could forgive me of the thins that I've done, God could never look past them.” Well more news for you, God forgives, and he CHOOSES to FORGET, and NEVER remember again. Luke 15:20-24 tells us of the compassion our Heavenly Father actually has for us, “...So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, ‘Father I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son’. But the father said to his servants,’QUICK! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.” That was the parable of the lost son. Jesus used parables to help better explain the love of God. He’s referring to everyone, we are the lost son. The son finally realized that he needed his father, but he knew he had sinned, so he went to his Father with guilt and shame, and came to him humbly. He wasn’t expecting his father to celebrate the return of him. But his father embraced him, and forgave him without even thinking, he was just waiting to see his son again coming down that road to revisit him. That is how our Heavenly Father is.

God not only wants to see us live a life of happiness, but he wants to see us prosper. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says “For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Its hard to imagine, that there’s a plan for your life, that you’re actually living for a reason, its still sometimes hard for me to grasp that idea. But Jeremiah 1:4-10 also says “‘Before I formed you I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’ ‘Ah sovereign Lord, I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.’But the Lord said to me,’Do not say I am only a child. You must go to everyone I send you to say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,’ declares the Lord. Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, ‘Now, I have put my words in your mouth. See today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.’”

One thing we have to understand is that God is with us all the time, it up to us to acknowledge him, and ask for his help, he will definantly help us. You may be wondering how do we pursue, and where do we start this relationship with God the Father, And Jesus Christ. Well its not that hard, God knows your thoughts, and he knows your heart, you could just be alone, wherever, and just ask God to be with you, and to show you. If you don't know what to pray, you can repeat this prayer in your heart, and actually mean it,if you decide you wan Jesus in your life: "Dear Lord, I do not know you, but you know me, and I'd like to get to know you. PLease come into my heart and into my life, so that I may experience your love first hand, and experience your grace in my life. Please forgive my sins, and my past because your word says you will do such works. Make me new again. Give me peace and joy in my life. In Jesus name, amen."

I’m not going to tell you too much about me, but I make mistakes everyday, and live in a world of temptation everyday, but its learning to evercome that temptation through Christ. I’m not writing this to be all in your face about God, and codemn you; I just want you to experience the same thing I have. Here’s some more verses that may help you out:

James 1:17 . 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows

James 4:10 10Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

1 Timothy 1:15-16 15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. 16But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life

Philippians 4:13 13I can do everything through him who gives me strength

Ephesians 2:4-5 4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.

2 Corinthians 4:18 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Romans 10:8-13 8But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,"[4] that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."[5] 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."[6

Romans 9:31-32 31but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it. 32Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the "stumbling stone."

Romans 3:23 , 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

John 15:5-8 5"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. 8This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Luke 11:9-10; 13 9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
