Monthly Newsletter

March Edition

I would like to wish you all a Happy Easter on April 20th, 2003!!

I am doing everything I know how to get more signups so that each and everyone of you receive your ps2's ASAP!

Congratulations to those who have received their PS2's!!  If you wish, you may send a testimonial, as Kevin did, explaining how you liked the site, and your ps2.  You may also send a photo, if you wish.

To those who are on the list and waiting to receive theirs, hang in there. I am brainstorming new ways to

get signups.

The website is still open to everyone on the internet. If you wish you can promote the site yourself on the internet, or let family and friends know about it. You may also sell the website link on e-bay. This will help you to receive your PS2's faster.

Please consider this. Since a person can take the option of receiving $200 instead of the PS2, subscribing to the newsletter is a good investment to those who aren't interested in receiving a PS2 as well as those who are interested.

Anyone can buy a $100 savings bond at their local bank for $50. It takes 12 to 14 years for it to mature, or receive your $100.

Their is also a full money back guarantee, at anytime, upon request for the $35 subscription.

If something came up and you needed your $50 back from your bank, after you purchased a savings bond. The bank will tell you, "In six months you can cash the bond in and get your money back, sorry there is no immediate refund."

As I promised this newsletter and the others to follow will include:

1. News of the PS2 Website updates and current offers

2. PS2 deals I've found

3. Money Saving, and Wholesale deals I find on the internet.

4. Helpful hints, and resources for becoming a successful seller on E-bay.

PS2 Website Updates

I am always thinking about different ways that I may improve the site.

As many of you have probably noticed, I have seperated the website into seperate
pages so that it is easier to navigate. To view the matrix lists click on the buttons entitled "PS2 Matrix", "XBox Matrix", and "GameCube + $50 Matrix".
Click on the button entitled "FAQ" to see frequently asked questions with answers.
Click on the button entitled "Testimonials" to view remarks left by people who have received their item.

I am currently selling popular, higher value items on e-bay.  For every three large ticket items that are purchased from my E-bay auctions will take the position of one sign up on the Matrix list.  I believe this will cause the list to cycle much faster. I value each and everyone of you as Customers and I truly want to see all of you receive your items ASAP.

I have also opened an E-bay store which is offering excellent deals on Game Console accessories, and
games. Once you receive your Game Console you will find everything you will want to make it complete. Such as extra controllers, games, DVD remotes for the Playstation 2, vertical stands, memory cards, mod chips and other
accessories.

 E-bay

You've probably noticed the banner ad at the bottom of the newsletters and the website that promotes advertising in the newsletter.
Every time someone purchases advertising space it will take place of one person signing up for the newsletter to help everyone receive their ps2 sooner.
Your feedback is welcome on this matter.  Please e-mail me your thoughts or suggestions.

Become a Successful E-bay Seller

This section will be an actual course in becoming a Successful E-bay Seller, with each newsletter, being a separate lesson.

I hope each and every one of you find this section helpful and valuable.
In January's newsletter I emphasized on how important it was to learn html code if you want to give your auctions a more professional appearance, and how html can help to create an interesting E-bay Me page to help you sell other programs or items you are offering.
There are thousands of free websites that will allow anyone to learn basic html code.

Simply type "free html code" into the search box on your browser, and click on search.
Thousands of sites will show up, just pick your favorite.

As a beginner I would recommend using the following site: https://www.angelfire.com/me2/eobcards/notepad1.html

I began a complete lesson in html in February's Newsletter! These Lessons are for those who do not have Microsoft Frontpage.
If you have Microsoft Frontpage it is much easier to write a auction description, or webpage in html.

Use Photos to Increase Your Sales

It may be a cliche that a picture is worth a thousand words, but it is one hundred percent true! A simple picture included with your ad can increase your sales by over two hundred percent!  Like I've said before, people are not comfortable bidding on an item unless they are absolutely sure what they are bidding on.  A picture gives the buyer a strong visual image of what they are buying. Take a look at the items that have the most bids in almost any category on the auction web site, and I'll bet you that the ads that have pictures have more bids, and also have higher bids than the ads that don't include a picture! It's the simple fact that seeing is believing!

Ok, so you're sold on an idea that a picture will help your item sell. Now your asking yourself, how do I get a picture up on the Internet? Well, that's a good question, and this next section is dedicated to showing you exactly how to take a picture of your item and post it to the Internet.

STEP I. GET THE PICTURE INTO YOUR COMPUTER

Ok, so this is a no brainer, even for the novice, but there are a few different ways that you cam accomplish this. The first is the old fashioned way, and ~ that is to use a normal camera, take a photo, and then take it to your local photo shop and get it developed. Once you get the photo developed, you need to get the photo scanned into your computer .

You can either buy a scanner at you local computer shop for approximately $100 and up, or you can take your photos to many local copy shops like Kinko's and they can scan your photos for you, and save them on a floppy disk.

The other alternative you can use is a digital camera, which will take a photo and download it immediately to your computer. These cameras are great to use, but cost about $300 to $500.

You can also use a normal camcorder to grab the image. With a small device (like SNAPPY) you can hook any video source, Like camcorders, to your computer and transfer the image that way. These devices cost between $100 to $200 and are a good alternative if you already have a camcorder at home.

STEP 2-PROCESS THE PHOTO

Ok, you've got your photo saved on your computer in either a .gif or .jpeg file. Next thing you may need to do is process the photo in a graphic program. Programs like Paint Shop Pro are available as shareware on the Internet. You can use them to do things like crop the photo using only a portion of the photo with your item. You can use them to adjust thing like the '---" brightness and contrast of the photo, or even add some cool text over the photo to create the perfect ad! Programs like Adobe's Photoshop is a full blown graphics program that will help automate tasks like processing photos and adding some cool effects to both your photos and your text.
