a Hawaiian theme night. staff members and club members partake of an evening of fun and games based around the life of the islands.
the hall should be decorated with a tropical theme. (palm trees, coconuts etc etc)
cocktails served at the bar. (cheap and easy to make. high profit margin)
fruit punch (alcoholic and non alcoholic) served at the bar, complete with parasols and fruit slices.
grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts worn by bar staff on duty.
limbo competition. winner gets a bottle of rum.
fancy dress competition. winner gets a bottle of rum (and picture put onto website for all friends and co-workers to laugh at) island music played at a disco. (beach boys etc etc)

2. terrorists and dictators night.

fancy dress night where guests dress up as their favourite dictator/terrorist.
special prize to the best dressed guest.
games; pin the tail on the dictator. prize to the member who places the tail in the most amusing place.
best silly dictator/terrorist karaoke competition. example; Adolph Hitler sings where have all the flowers gone.

3. Vicars and tarts night.

no explanation needed really.

4. Irish night.

shamrocks and shenanigans.
hall decorated in Irish colours.
Irish music based disco. featuring the Furies, the Pogues, (no sectarian songs for obvious reasons).
river dance competition. who can do the best attempt at a drunken river dance.
Guinness and baileys on special offer behind the bar.
best Irish joke competition.

5. war night.

hall decorated in war time memorabilia.
air raid competition. a variation on musical chairs. who can get under the table the quickest when the air raid siren goes off.
war games darts match. a large map of Germany. whoever hits Bremen first wins a bottle of schnapps.

6. snail race night.

a race night with snails.
this may take a while but seeing a hall full of people shouting at snails to get a move on will be a good laugh.

7. go cart sunday.

members build and race a home made go cart down the hill outside the club.
prizes for best go cart, best driver, most spectacular crash.
