commentator #1 “you join us here at the world bowl’s championship as three times world champion Dougie “fingers” Featheringham is about to try to draw onto this crowded head.”

commentator #2 “well Dave it’s a particularly difficult head to draw into, there’s an opposition bowl just sitting on the line that Dougie’s bowl wants to be, or the “road” as bowlers like to say.”

cut to green.

a bowler steps forwards and takes his shot.

cut back to box.

commentator #2 “he’s going to be close with this one.”

commentator #1 {covering microphone} “I'll bet you a tenner he goes through the gap.

commentator #2 {giving the thumbs up} “it’s going to be very close!”

cut to green

the bowl goes clean through the middle of the head.

cut to box.

commentator #1 is dancing a jig in the background giving his fellow commentator the fingers.

commentator #2 “and just look at those joyous celebrations out on the green there, truly a moment to savour.”

cut to green.

the winning bowler has his pullover over his head and is running around celebrating like a footballer.
he slides on his knees to rest at the feet of his opponent. he stands and gives the fingers to him.
