Introduction for show fades up, soothing music begins to play. a suited presenter is sitting on a leather chair.

Presenter: “Tonight on film focus we focus on film, and the film we focus on tonight is a film.” {looks to camera 2} “I'm intelligent so i’m better than you. i have a doctorate“{turns back to main camera} “tonight we get a rare glimpse at directors who attempted to switch genre’s at the peak of their careers. Firstly we have some rare footage of Alfred Hitchcock’s unreleased comedy film “The Runner”

Film reel counts off numbers.
Fade up to reveal waves lapping a shoreline.

Camera runs across the top of the surf and lifts up to reveal a young woman running along the beach.

Camera zooms in towards the woman she looks very dishevelled. she is wearing a torn gingham dress. her hair is dishevelled. she is crying. smudged make-up has streamed down her cheeks.

Camera follows woman running. music rises and swells dramatically.
the woman stops running (a jarring chord plays as the woman stops running)

Close up on woman.
Woman’s face is a picture of abject horror. She takes a deep breath and puffs out her cheeks.

there is a loud fart noise.
Sound effect: {loud fart noise}

Woman: “Ahhh”
Woman sniff’s the air.
Woman: “Rather pleasant”

Dramatic music begins again and the woman resumes her running.
Cut back to studio.

Presenter: “Join us next week when we have the only recently discovered roughs of Adolph Hitler wearing a Tutu and dancing the tango with Herman Goering. Fritz Lang's finest hour i‘m sure you‘ll agree”

Title music begins to play.
Fade out.
