But, you get scared;

The passion, the laughter and dreams.

But you took those with you when you went away

Still, grief fades and our hearts need love,

My darling, I miss you.  I live for your letters,

Sweet words you send me while we are apart.

I read them so slowly- to make them last longer

But soon they are over and soon YOU depart.

For, your letters transport me right to your side, dear,

And while I am reading I feel your kind heart.

I look o'er your shoulder to what you are writing

And leaving I kiss you, when time to depart.

I miss you, my darling, I long to be near you

And say all these things I feel in my heart
