Track Improvements & Upgrades Chris doing shovel work on the first obstacle. We did improvements to first and second straght for our State Qualifier in August 2008. Eric brought out his backhoe to get the improvements done over a 3 day weekend. There was alot of dirt moved the first 2 days. Eric moving more dirt for improvements. Chris ran the bobcat donated by Peterson Cat. Between him and Eric on 2 pieces of equipment we were able to get alot done. I would like to thank Eric and Chris for all their hard work moving dirt so we could complete our mission of changing the first and second straight. HOGUE ROOFING SAVES THE DAY!! With the generous donation of new facilities from Hogue Roofing we can soon retire our trailer. First one arrives right on time! John Riley(my dad) stands in front of the structure built by him, Rod Akin, Edward Steeves and Curtis Buckelew to hold the buildings. Employees of Hogue Roofing ran the forklift and were instrumental with the removal of the structures. With the structures wavering on the forks it was a bumpy ride getting them around. Structure two is being set in place. The structures are set on temporary blocks on pad to allow for adjustment. With some adjustments and improvments to pad the buildings are now set in place. Rod found steel doors and my dad, Matt and I rebuilt the door jams to compensate for the added weight. They turned out awesome. Rod and my dad building a deck on the back and frontside of structure and will be adding steps soon. We have put in many days work already and have only started! We will be tackling the inside soon. My dad puts the final touches on the second door before installing, he is also working on the front windows at his home to be installed soon. I have been very fortunate to have his help with so many projects at this facility as well as helping with the movie and concert concessions. Dad you are AWESOME!!
