TRACK REVIEW:
RELOCATION OF MEDFORD BMX:
We have been notified by Park & Rec that we will be relocated to build a waterpark 3 years from now. We are starting the relocation process ASAP and would like to start the moving process next fall. Our relocation committee had a meeting with parks & rec and have been given two possible locations in the Rogue Valley. I have since been in contact with the Wes Howard project(Ross & Rossanley) and the Sports Park(hwy 140 & 62), both are interested in having our organization as part of their facilities. We have appointments with both and are excited with the progress so far and have taken a major roll in the relocation process. Parks & Rec will not remove the track until completion of our new site.
I am thankful for the support Parks and Rec has shown in the past and the support they will give in the relocation of our organization. We have been a family member of the City of Medford and look forward to building a top notch facility for our members. We will keep members updated with our progress. We as a collective at Medford bmx see this as a positive move, we have outgrown our present location and feel this comes at a time when our volunteer base is strong. Thank you to all who have kept this process positive, I am excited for our members!!
ATTENTION!!!!
NEW ADDRESS; PLEASE SEND EMAILS TO THIS ADDRESS AS OUR OLD ADDRESS AT AOL HAS BEEN CANCELLED.I am also available at the track phone number day and night for anyone who needs to contact me. akinbmxing@embarqmail.com

Hogue Roofing Rocks!!
We received new structures at Medford BMX to house our registration and concessions by Hogue Roofing and we thank them for thinking of us when it came time to move the buildings. It is with the help of generous supporters like Hogue that we are able to complete needed upgrades to improve our area. Thank you so much from all of us at Medford bmx!
PROMOTION-PROMOTION-PROMOTION!!!
We have had a surge in membership thanks to special individuals who have stept up to promote our sport in Southern Oregon. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Pear Blossom Parade, we handed out over 2300 flyers! Top that, sure! Thank you to members who helped get 6500 flyers ready for sending to every student K-6 in the Medford School district. Thank you Chris Gallegos for meeting with the Medford school board to get our flyers approved and the gang at Riders Choice Bikes for sorting all 6500 to send to each classroom. I am so pleased with how our 2009 season is shaping up!

POSITIVE OUTLOOK:
Thank you to all Medford Bmx members who have taken a huge role in volunteering their time and talents for the improvement of our facility. Members have volunteered for promotion and fund raising projects and we have a full maintenance crew who prep the track each week. We are very grateful to everyone who has taken an interest in our facility.
We had a great time at our first car wash in August and will schedule more in future summer seasons. We had plenty of volunteers and feel our first fundraiser was successful. Medford volunteers are AWESOME!

3rd Annual "Pumpkin Classic"
We held our third annual Pumpkin classic October 26th and had a wonderful time. We began the day with a relay "trick or treat" and handed out awesome trophies with a Halloween theme. Thank you to all who made this event an awesome experience!
MEDFORD BMX NEW RIDER CLINICS
We are fortunate to have some very talented retired pros in our area who want to help our new members. Zach Secrest put on an excellent clinic with the assistance of Rob Gamble. We are already seeing improvement from those who attended. We will be scheduling more clinics this season.
Mr. T actually took some time out of his day to come on down and support the track...by punching all the child-eating sharks that were lurking in the river nearby, wiping out the diabolical menace permenantely and making it safe to approach the river once again. We deeply appreciate such an act of selfless butt-kicking awesomeness and offer him our mose sincere thanks.
