DIVA‘S CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH[/align][/size][/font][/color]

[align=center][FONT=SAND][SIZE=2][COLOR=BLACK][B].PROLOGUE.[/B][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/ALIGN][align=center][FONT=SAND][SIZE=2][COLOR=BLACK][b]THE ROYAL RUMBLE[/b] was just right around the corner, only so many days away, yet it seemed so far away but at the same time, it seemed so close almost as if it was at reach. It just looked like things have bee building up as of late. But at the [B]ROYAL RUMBLE[/b] many want to prove it all, many want to prove that they deserve to be something, and some already are as they rise above all weather they’re a champion or a legendary superstar well something along those lines. There are many different agenda’s as the even was right around the corner. So much can and will be decided, heck [b]NEW[/b] Champions could even be crowned, well not all but maybe and possibly some, it was looking up for many but very dark and grim for some, with no way out. Last week on [B][COLOR=NAVY]FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN[/b][/color] it came as a shock to everybody when Paul Heyman came out and down to the ring when Jeff Hardy now the former WWE Champion was making his speech in the ring, the first thing he did was to come down and then drop the bombshell to Jeff Hardy that he was stripping him of his WWE Championship in which Jeff Hardy seemed upset about, didn’t think it was fair, thought it was a bit harsh, but  wasn’t going to back down from the fight and would claim that he was going to earn the title back to prove why he deserves it more than anybody. If that was not quite a shock then who knows what could have been. 

The Diva’s of [b][color=navy]FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN[/b][/color] were also in action, some of the matches were great and some of them just rocked the audience, the millions of WWE fans watching through out the whole entire arena. Now yes some people might have believed that Maria was the underdog as usual and probably believed that she let Lita get into her head after their confrontation hours before the match with Kelly Kelly and Brooke Gilbertsen, but she faired pretty well. She proved not only Lita but everybody else wrong and proved that she wanted to face Maryse for  that title much more then either of the other Diva’s did. And also proved that she’d been more then just a pretty face. She fought long and hard the match seemed to go on forever as if it was never going to end, that was the competition, which she had been talking about all week long. Now sure she herself knew that she could do it. Brooke and Kelly Kelly seemed to go at it much more then Maria, however the fact of the matter was, Maria won the match. How you might ask yourself, well simple, a Bulldog [b][color=deeppink]SEEING STARS[/b][/color] in other words. Brooke surely was seeing stars in her match after Maria got a quick pin fall to win her match. 

She was obviously in all smiles and was happy that for once she was getting her chance to shine and that finally this wasn‘t like old times and they‘ve been treating her much more fairly then they had in the past. Now, it was obvious many divas were jealous of her because many people liked her and many people looked up to her. She was pretty much getting used to this whole thing and was so much better then before. However, it does not end there. She was not finished yet. She would not stop there. She would keep on fighting. She was going to prove herself as a fighter and NOT a quitter. So what does this mean for the Eloquent Angel? It could mean many things, it could mean that eventually she will reach her goals well one of her short-term goals that would always be a start. She could possibly be, or well be one step closer to her dream that she always wanted to achieve other them becoming apart of the WWE and making herself, her friends and her family happy as well as the millions of fans too. She could very well be the next BEST Diva, well maybe not yet she did have a little bit more work to do but those were some of the possibilities. However, to get to the rumble and knowing that if she is the number one contender for Maryse’s title she has one hell of a shot to dethrone the Champion, yes, it would be tough and yes it would be a great match for all eyes to see but one obstacle once more stands in Maria’s way. That one person, or Diva standing in Maria’s way was yes another Diva Search Contestant, that she was very familiar with, does [b][color=DEEPPINK]CARMELLA GARCIA[/b][/color] ring a bell? Well hopefully it does, which in that case pretty much sure that it did. It did ring a bell with Maria anyways. You might ask why is that so important anyway, well this might answer your so called questions, because on [B][COLOR=NAVY]SMACKDOWN[/b][/color] Maria, will be going one on one with her inside of the four sided ring to determine who will become the #1 Contender for the Diva’s Championship at the Royal Rumble. She got through two very tough divas indeed and was not going to take anything away from either of them regardless if she disliked somebody or not that just was not how it went anyway. One week of jam packed action was now down in the history books, and onto another week of the action that everybody has been waiting for, hopefully maybe even better then the week before the ratings surely looked extremely good for the first week. Now what else was there to do? Again, it seems the people are betting against Maria. It seems like no matter what she does she can never catch a break, so now with that on her mind she knows she has to be even more impressive then she was last week in order to beat Carmella. The rankings sure spoke for themselves, maybe not as high as some but the most important thing to her was it was a start to boost her confidence even higher. Confidence surely did help that is for sure. She has surely shown all of the haters something to talk about and oh they’re talking alright they’re talking, which didn’t mean much to Maria because she was used to it and used to being insulted, or disrespected. After all being a former interviewer in all it usually did get somewhat messy anyway and pretty sticky situations too. However, that was the past, and there was no need to go into detail there. The question everybody wants to know is, can she do it and does she have enough? Well if she could withstand two competitors in a triple threat match, she surely could survive in a match against yet a Diva whom she has not really faced in the ring. Talk about a mad dash almost like racing to a finish line, this is about to get interesting.

[align=center][font=sand][size=2][color=black]As the scene opened, the camera’s were panning around the arena catching glimpses of many fans and the signs that they hold up week in and week out, with either their favorite superstars or diva’s names on them, random sayings or anything related to the show itself. It was amazing how many people could fit into one arena. Some of the signs read, [b]MARIA IS THE BEST[/B] [B]JEFF HARDY ROCKS[/B] [B]LITA FAN FOR LIFE[/B] [B]MARRY ME TRISH[/B] and many other interesting signs that were yet to be seen. The arena was jam packed as usual for this weeks edition of [b][color=navy]FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN.[/b][/color] That didn’t however come as a surprise because [b]SMACKDOWN[/b] was getting just as popular as the A brand of [b]MONDAY NIGHT RAW.[/b] Jim Ross and Tazz were sitting down ringside doing their usual color commentating as they usually do, on the show that changes [b]FRIDAY NIGHTS[/b] and yes that meant sharing [b]their[/b] thoughts on the up coming matches to take place very soon as well as the [b]up-coming[/b] PPV, the [B]ROYAL RUMBLE.[/b] It just couldn’t get any better, however for some it has but for others it will be a [b]long[/b] road ahead of them to reach their fortune and glory. The events leading up to the PPV are quite interesting though, Maria found herself in a feud with Lita however there are sources that are stating otherwise and that things have calmed down and they straightened their differences and came to terms with one another after putting one another through hell. Nevertheless, that was the least of her worries. The fans were becoming very anxious and restless while awaiting on something exciting to happen as the camera‘s were finally focused ringside down on the commentators table. Yup, the usual.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=right][font=sand][size=2][color=red][b]- the BOOMER SOONER | JIM ROSS[/b]- Hello and welcome to FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN. I am Jim Ross sitting along side Tazz, we saw some great matches take place right here on SMACKDOWN last week something that shocked me was the SMACKDOWN General Manager; Paul Heyman stripping our former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy of the WWE Championship. It is not quite certain why he did what he did but I am shocked at his actions. I honestly thought it was a bit harsh and did not think that was right or even fair by all means.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=right][font=sand][size=2][color=Orange][b]- the HUMAN SUPLEXING MACHINE | TAZZ[/b]- Well JR, I gotta say that I don’t think that was fair what Paul Heyman did either, but he is the general manager of SMACKDOWN and whatever he says goes. I have to admit that I was shocked too and I couldn’t believe he did what he did either, but there you must know is a reason for it. Now JR, Jeff Hardy is a very talented wrestler and I am pretty sure that he will do all that it takes to win back the WWE Championship.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=right][font=sand][size=2][color=red][b]- the BOOMER SOONER | JIM ROSS[/b]- You might be right Tazz but I think he was way in over his head. However, let’s move on. We had some great matches last week, and some great competitors that came out victorious in their matches and are one-step closer to achieving their dreams. The Diva’s Division also seems to be more and more impressive as of late, week in and week out there is no doubt about it, I do have to give them some kind of credit.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=right][font=sand][size=2][color=Orange][b]- the HUMAN SUPLEXING MACHINE | TAZZ[/b]- Oh I agree. I totally agree. We had these beautiful ladies wrestling in that ring and they seem to impress me week in and week out too. We had Maria Kanellis defeat, not only one but two divas. That was one impressive match. It could have gone either way but our beautiful Maria picked up the win and has moved on in her quest to become the Diva’s Champion. As we know, Maryse holds that title right now but not sure, for how long, Maria is sure on a mission. Our Diva‘s Champion also competed and won her match.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=right][font=sand][size=2][color=red][b]- the BOOMER SOONER | JIM ROSS[/b]- I’d say so Tazz. I would sure hope that if Maria were given a chance to face Maryse that it is a fair match. However, we all know how Maryse is she does not care as long as she is holding that belt. But we will have to see what happens because this week on SMACKDOWN, Maria faces Carmella in a number one contender-ship match to see who will face Maryse with the Diva’s Championship on the line and of course our Diva’s Champion will be sitting ringside with us for the match. We have yet to hear from either Maria or Carmella on this match but I am sure we will soon. It is only a matter of time now Tazz.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

I think that he will take out his frustrations on Shelton Benjamin. It looks that way after being stripped of his WWE Championship in front of the millions of SMACKDOWN fans.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=right][font=sand][size=2][color=Orange][b]- the HUMAN SUPLEXING MACHINE | TAZZ[/b]- You have a point, I wonder myself how Jeff Hardy is going to handle losing the title, but I am sure JR that not everything is as it seems to be. We will have to see. I for one am hoping that he shows everybody that he does deserve it but nobody really knows what could happen.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=center][font=sand][size=2][color=black]Jim Ross and Tazz were having their normal debates as things were going on as normal. Suddenly the screen above the stage area flickered on from blackness, to the backstage locker room area where moments ago somebody was shown arriving at the arena. [B]NOT[/b] just somebody but a [b]WWE SMACKDOWN DIVA.[/b] Yes that’s right DIVA! Not just any diva though. As the camera’s got closer they caught a glimpse of who this Diva was, the fans began to erupt into cheers while they could see whom it was as their whole backside was shown from the head down to toe. The fans wondered if she was going to turn around or weather this was just her teasing them. Suddenly she pushed her hair out of her face slightly and then turned around as she was standing there talking to somebody on her cell phone. Finally, she hung up quickly and grabbed her black duffle bag up and off the floor placing it on her shoulder and smiled. She slowly began to head down the long corridor as the cameras began to follow her on her destination. She was used to this, yup used to camera‘s following her all around everywhere she went. She felt so confident because she knew that she had her chance ahead of her and had her chance to become the Diva’s Champion, possibly soon, but Maryse was not easily going to let that happen and she knew it. Maria fought Maryse before so she knew all of her tricks and most of the moves she would use. But it wasn’t about [b]Maria Vs Maryse[/b] it [b][color=deeppink]was Maria Vs Carmella[/color][/b] as much as people would love to see Maria [b]win[/b] the Diva’s Championship and take out Maryse it wasn’t happening [b]YET[/b] but  you never know seeing since over time anything is bound to happen. Maria was not going to back down, not this close to possibly winning her first ever Diva’s Championship or better yet her first championship EVER. The more that she thought about it the more and more things began to wander through her mind.

Maria walked down the hallway her hips swaying from side to side and her footsteps lightly walking along the hard floor as she walked along. Maryse might think that she had this whole diva’s Championship stuff figured out but she had no idea how much passion Maria has and how much of a heart she has for the business. Now sure Maria counted the match fairly when Maryse did win the Championship which was before but people cannot for get that, and she was only being fair to both competitors but some people didn’t think that way, they felt Maria did screw Michelle over which wasn’t the case at all. Michelle thinks Maria was jealous of her but it was rather the opposite, but everybody knows how Maryse won the title and that was the bottom line no going back to change history. Now the question is how much longer will she hold the belt proudly and prance around as if she owns the place? Maria usually was quiet and kept to herself however, she seemed to be more vocal as of late, it spiced things up a bit when she did the things she did and made for much of an interesting show indeed.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

While the fans were enjoying themselves, their food and their chatting amongst themselves before anything even went on, it was normal well maybe but it was just a slight break anyway, and they were sure that something was going to happen or all they could do at the moment was to hope. Suddenly Maria heard a slight knock at her door where she turned her attention to look. As she walked over she suddenly swung the door open slightly as she stepped out into the hallway, and had a small smile on her face but she could not help but to be surprised at who was standing outside of her locker room door.[/color][/font][/size][/align]

This week is important to me though because it is a number one contender for the Diva’s Championship and if I win then I will be facing Maryse.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

[align=center][font=sand][size=2][color=black]Maria nodded her head she was pretty pleased with herself as she was beginning to progress and things were beginning to finally go her way, but things can change with in the blink of eye and she knew that by now which was why she was kind of nervous to get her hopes up. However right now they seemed to be carrying on a decent conversation, they had always gotten along and always seemed like good friends on and off screen.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

However, being the underdog like everybody thinks I am I do not think that really anybody thinks that I can do it. Now that she had something to go on with that is. Carmella hadn’t been heard from for a few days or so and facing Maria in a big match like this who would pass the opportunity of a lifetime up over god knows what? Well who knows? She did feel like she had en edge and momentum was on her side. Momentum is a HUGE thing to some people and for her it shifted to her side now that she was able to let out her feelings. She did not usually do this but now that was something new. She was sick of people always thinking she was jealous of them when they were always jealous of her. It was just a fact that many could not face. Maria smiled in Jeff’s direction and then placed a hand on her hip as she spoke.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

I will have to go out there, as I did last week and prove to the people who bet against me week after week and think I cannot win that they are wrong because I can. This is anybody’s match. Carmella and I are fairly well evenly matched. Kelly Kelly, Brooke Gilbertsen and I put one a great show last week. As much as I really do not like Brooke I give credit to her also the way the match went back and forth, it was fun. I never really said Carmella would not have a good shot to beat me; of course, I am going to do all I can to make sure that that does not happen of course. Yeah! Of course, I am, I am excited. Nobody has any idea of what is going to happen that is why I do not plan on saying that I am going to beat Carmella down. I will face her in a fair fight. I am familiar with Carmella, she’s a former Diva Search Contestant and a former Playboy Cover Girl, like myself, it makes a lot of sense to me to be facing her rather then somebody else and if it was I wouldn‘t treat them any different then I do any of my opponents. I guess you can say Carmella is probably going to have a lot to say about me too, because that is just the kind of person she seems to me. I don‘t know Josh. I have heard things about her though, and you and everybody knows I do not spread rumors but she could try to hurt me after some of the things that she has done in her life. It‘s bad. It is sooo scary. She might attack me or something. I cannot get hurt during the match, it‘d be awful. I‘m not saying I‘m scared I‘m just a slight bit wondering what she is capable of. Because who knows. I‘m not saying she‘s a huge threat but she might be a small one. It‘s going to be a close match. I know I am not giving up.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

Therefore, if Carmella does lose to me and I win, I will not go and disrespect her I will not make fun of her and call her names, I will not brag about the fact that I won the match. I cannot stand when these certain diva’s do that. It was bad enough Michelle McCool thought I was jealous of her when in fact she was ALWAYS jealous of me, she always hated me, she was a backstabber I can’t believe how she could ever think such things and I wouldn’t want to do that to somebody else even though Carmella probably feels A LOT different then I do. Most likely, she is going to feel the need to put me down. I respect that but there is also something called karma, soooo.. I want to prove to Maryse that she is all talk and no go and I don‘t care if she is commentating on my match and will be watching , closely, like she says she will be either. To me, it makes no difference. I am sure she‘d be shocked as well as everybody else if I did win and beat Carmella and if I happened to beat her for her title she‘d be even more shocked, and would probably ask for a rematch and say a win or something was a fluke. At the Royal Rumble, her title will be one the line anyway and either way so she cannot hide out forever. I want more than anything and I‘m telling her right now I want it more. I‘ve worked so hard to get to this point and I‘m going to continue. If she hates me so much that is her problem. It isn’t mine. But then of course she doesn‘t really like anybody but herself anyway. But, I would think the other divas would love to take her down too, I actually know a few names won‘t give them away though you‘ll have to find out for yourselves.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

Jeff Hardy and I we are just really good friends, well right now we are anyway. Who knows what might happen sometime down the line, things obviously do happen but to answer your question Josh, if you wanted to know or if you are trying to hit on me your answer is a no. He asked me to go out after the show, I do not know if it was a date it might have been but it did not seem like it. We are just going out to talk over drinking coffee and that is it as far as I know.[/color][/size][/font][/align]

Nonetheless, also left him wondering to himself as the fans believed every word of which she had spoken, because in all honesty what was it to him and whose business was it anyway?

So it has now concluded that when Maria takes on Carmella she is going to step it up and step up her game to impress once more but could there be some hard feelings when this one is all said and done? Maybe. Maria surely sounded like weather or not Carmella sounds dangerous or not she is willing to take that chance. These two are former Diva Search Contestants and Playboy Cover Girl‘s. Usually they were over looked and not given the chance or they found themselves where they didn’t want to be and found themselves continuously trying to get to where they wanted to be.

OOC:[/b] Okay I just wanted to say that I decided to put up my role-play now because I didn’t want to wait until the last minute to post it, because on Tuesday and Wednesday I won’t be able to post to much due to staying over at a friends house and then Thursday is the deadline in which I hate posting on the day of. I thought that it came out pretty decent considering that I really once again didn’t have too much to work with, and I am not sure that Carmella is going to role-play but all in all it came out better than I thought it was going to.
