Have you ever wondered if God was a poet?
I say that there is no doubt about it.
For have you ever read His published Book?
That explains His Son's life we so easily took.
This Book is the most read and widespread,
That shows you, how in life, you can get ahead!
This Book is filled with wisdom and tact,
That came from God Himself, and that is a fact!
In it He wrote about the land and the sea,
And about how He created you and me!
He wrote about the birds in the air,
And wrote about how life is not always fair.
He did some of this in the form of poetry,
And some in a form that we can easily see.
Whether it was by referring to a story,
Or by His creation that reflects His glory.
To me, the Bible is a beautiful song,
But to some it is boring and long,
It can be short and have that sweet sort of sound,
With words that will certainly astound!
So, is God a poet?
All I can say is, "I know it!"
