She wrote this one for the soccer team ^^

One season gone, a new one arrives.
A new day, where the past forever dies.
If you have any regret, let it be ever gone,
For when you release that sin, God has won!
A new team made, with people to get to know.
Tears to be shed, and the closer we'll grow!
New techniques to be repeatedly practiced.
Opportunities to share God's love I nearly missed.
Disappointments to come, with pain to endure,
But having joy in the Lord is always the cure!
Our goal is to strive to be the team with unity,
The thing every team desires, but many never see.
We have an advantage over many, we have a love
That binds our hearts tight, love sent from God above.
A love that gives us the heart to want to Jesus imitate.
A love that destroys discord and takes away all hate.
Never feel alone or think that no one cares,
God has a love for you, which I yearn to share!
Coach Nelson cares and says she has an open door.
I learned things the hard way, and my heart Satan tore.
Please don't hold your hurt all bundled up inside,
It is this I did which made things worse, for this I tried.
Know I am here if you need to talk, rant or rave,
But also know that God is ALWAYS here and does save!
So, as this season begins and we grow day by day,
Enjoy each moment, learning as you do, that is what I say.
