Akuhei leaned her head back as she kneeled against the earth, searching for any trace of hinderance in the skies above. She touched the cool grass with the tips of her fingers and licked her lips, tasting the sweet essence of mountain air that drifted in the cool night air.
Slowly lifting herself to her feet, she patted at the front of her flap, the dark violet blue color shimmering in the dark night. She shifted her weight to one side of her body and crossed her arms as she stared down the hill she stood upon, watching Kitana's movements.
Akuhei narrowed her eyes as Kitana slowly crawled on all fours towards the wooded area, her caution at a high stake.
As soon as Kitana reached the first Thai tree she leaned her back against it, her long gown fluttering against the night breeze. Her one strapped top slid slightly down her shoulder as she peeked around the corner. She hurridly placed it in its correct position as she stood slowly and cautiously, rising herself still against the bark.
The top of her gown revealed a great deal of her smooth stomach, and the bottom lacing from her hips down to her white slippered feet. Her red hair flapped lazily in the wind as she lifted her long fingers to wipe the unwanted strands from her concentrated face.
All was still, and finally Kitana gave a wave, signaling Akuhei and the other leaders and their troops to head forth.

Taru followed Hogosha through the passageway that lay underneath the vast city.
He was going to find the Roigel, the Guardian Monster's keeper, and grant those chosen with a stone embroided in their forehead the ability to bond and fuse with a guardian monster from their world's twin...the world parallel to their own, but in a different sphere of light...and darkness...
Hogosha wore a long, teal colored cover gown over her usual revealing apparel.
Her hair swung in all directions as she reared corners, leading the king to his destination.
The mirror of the goddesses. Yes, Taru had heard of it. One stepped through it's fine glass which reflected upon your soul, granting you access to the the great rhealm of time and space to enter the opposite world. And only pure spirits could enter this rhealm.
" Pure spirits? What exactly does the Mirror of the goddesses refer to as a pure spirit?" Taru frowned, tightening his grip on the light auburn blonde's body as he stepped over a fragment of crystal through the dark pathway lit by shards of glass upon the walls, refelcting the light from the moon.
" Your soul ez pure ef your spirit haz pure intentionz...and for good meaning." Hogosha slowed her pace as the three neared a large oval-shaped mirror reflecting three different shades of silhouetted shadows.
Taru's silhouette was half black and half light blue, Hogosha's silhouette was all silver, and the girl in his arms was a fierce gold.
" Ah...Her soul ez compleztely pure. She haz all good intentionz, and tries tu live her life full of love and paseon. Your soul is healing etz woundz from itz past and turning over to a better futuior. My soul and spirit has good morals and intentionz, and i may not be az pure az she, but that iz because i have killed many men to defend my city. We can all pass through, for our intentions." Hogosha smiled, bowing lowly, bending her arms to show Taru through the mirror.
" We?" Taru murmured.
" Are you sure this is the gateway to our twin?" Taru breathed steadily as he carried the unconscious girl in his arm. Though he still did not know her name was Mitsukai, nor where she was from or what her reason had been for attempting to kill him, he felt that she was important to the mission he had assigned himself that night.
" I am vuite sher that thees iz da passagewae. "
" It iz called ze mirror of ze goddesses. But you both may have zome proiblems going through ze mirror because it only lets pure spirits through zer rhealm and pathway to our world's twin. "
" You will need a guide, yes?" Hogosha's smile faded into a grim expression, " Unfortunately, this rhealm is dark, and morbid, so it iz not safe to go alone."
