Mitsukai slowly opened her eyes to see threads of light streaking through trees. The sun was set low, but the sky was gorgeous from the viewpoint of the trees. Its orange, pink and blue glow reflected on her cheeks causing her eyes to squint lightly, her hand tracing over her forehead so that she could block the light from seeping passed her eyelids. Mitsukai was not concentrating on the light, she was concentrating on where she was.
She lifted her other hand to her right leg, where it felt soar, then gently brought it up to the lower part of her head where it throbbed with pain.
Moaning with pain, Mitsukai gathered her velvet green dress in her hands and tried standing up. Forcing her legs to bend and carry her weight was too much to ask at this time, sending her backwards, toppling over against the tree she had awaken from.
Her light green eyes scanned the woods, finding nothing. The soft grass beneath her cushoned her bottom, thankfully, and the bark on the tree gave her of no bother because of the dark green forest cloak she wore over her light auburn brown hair that fell gently passed her shoulders.
All she could do was sit there, and wait for help. Then suddenly Mitsukai's thoughts traced back to the King.

Akuhei pulled her light rose colored cloak around her, fastening it tight beneath her chin and closing it's bottom to hide her form. She sighed impatiently as she waited for Kitana who was talking and negotiating with the other group leaders.
When Akuhei's eyes fell upon the last. The man was a few inches taller than herself, with black hair that covered his gentle brown eyes and defined his deep cheekbones. His face was strong. And so was his tall frame... He wore a royal blue cape over a black uniform with a sword connected to his belt. He crossed his arms gently, challenging the woman before him.
Akuhei didn't know any better but over the passed few months of training with him, she had grown fond of him... and emotions swirled in her head with a light passion for this mysterious man. But she was too stubborn to admit her feelings, or even realize them.
She could only sigh and look down at the 13 year old boy who shook his head. "Too bad, you liked him too. "
Kitana shook her head, Akuhei would take care of that. But now Kitana had to take her place as Farren.
" Alright... lets get down to business."
" Taru." Mitsukai positioned herself to look around the massive tree, pulling herself along the fine bark so that she could barely peak her head passed.
And sure enough, against the other half of the tree, lay a handsome, but worn, King.
" We have no chance, with the King it was one thing, he was mortal at least." One leader said.
" Surely some one else can fight? We aren't strong enough!" Another stated.
" We are Tomoqe! A great team of leaders who fight against whats right. Yes the King is one thing, oh yes he is indeed. But with the Enchantress of the underworlds comes far more problems. And if we do not deal with them we are in far greater danger." Kitana pursed her red lips together, eyeing all of the leaders in council warily.
" I'm with the Farren. She speaks the truth. If we do not take action now, our loved ones will suffer her wrath!" A tall, brute man with furs that hid his built frame, sat in a corner in the tent near the fire that blazed hurrily. His dark satin gray eyes looked up at Kitana, his light blonde hair falling gently into his eyes as he spoke tenderly to his folk.
" Please, I am not the Farren, a name like that is too great a gift." Kitana blushed at the compliment.
" Aye, my lady you are the Farren. You are our leader, entilted to Tumoqe's lady. You have that title so quit your modesty." An older woman with gray hair and sad saffron eyes tilted her head to the side, then nodded, agreeing with the tall man.
" Yes, Farren." And a boy, a small boy with shocking blue hair and ice blue eyes grinned as he lightly punched her in the side.
Kitana grinned at the boy with 13 years. He was the spirit of this camp. Bringing what little joy Kitana's group had left.
" If your not the Farren then I dont know who the heck is." The boy shoved her again, then rubbed the small stone in his forehead that reflected a silver color. " So stop your modesty act and tell us what to do."
Kitana's grin widened. " Are we all in?"
Twelve of the Twenty group shook their heads. The other eight slowly stepped back, giving Kitana a sense of grief.
" That's it!" Akuhei swung around the corner, her marroon eyes scanning the so called group of leaders and rose her voice to the maximum.
" You call yourself leaders in our group? You, you eight? How dare you call your self Tumoqes. How dare you fight the weak and then flee the strong when our world comes closer to its end. You are cowards! Thinking of nothing but yourself! If not defend your families, children or other loved ones, defend yourselves and the little pride and spirit you have left!" She stepped closer to the group who had declined Kitana's offer.
" So either you make a wiser decison now, or I give you more hell for wasting my time."
Seven of the Eight hurridly walked passed Kitana to join their other comrades, shuffling through the group.
" I do not wish to waste the lady's precious time, but you are all fools. Not only does the Enchantress want to dominate this world, but our world's twin. And what effects one world, effects the other. So how can you assure one world's safety when both are at stake? You speak with the tongue of a child Aku Tenrai, you are still naive."
Akuhei's eyes lit up, a light shocking yellow began to stream from her irises, " Do not call me a child Tao!" She pointed her finger directly to his face, " You are a coward!"
Tao laughed, pushing her hand away from his direction, then scowled heavily at the sixteen year old, " Who said I didn't want to fight? I will, but not alongside you."
And with one swift movement, Tao was gone from the tent.
Akuhei felt a pang of disapointment in her chest. Tao... she had looked up to him... not like a brother but as a comrade. He had betrayed her... or... had he betrayed her heart?
Akuhei snarled, " Shutup Kick." And Akuhei left the tent to follow Tao.
