Part Five, Act Two

It seems every time I put my life into danger, an unexpected stranger takes me into their arms and protects me from the enduring evil surrounding me. And therefore, I donot have to face this evil alone. 'We'll be friends forever right Mitsy?' A small voice erupted from the darkness, her dark violet hair pulled back into braids. Her marroon eyes shimmered in the moonlight as the two lay in the tree's leaves. 'Forever Aku, no matter what the world has in store for us. We will always have eachother to fall on when times grow weak.' Her golden brown hair tinted with auburn ran down her shoulders in curles as she gazed at the stars with her bright emerald green eyes. The two twelve-year olds sat in silence, the moonlight holding them and comforting them. If only they knew what forever would mean and what it held... Ten years of no memory...Mitsukai... Twelve years of living a simple life, growing up with Tao...the only family...until one fateful day...when Mitsukai washed ashore. Forever... What did it mean? And what had it led to? How did this come to be? How did fate come to be? Akuhei awoke within a dream. Her body as lifeless as Mitsukai's. She had drained her energy, the only motion she could achieve was the movement of soul and mind. Her only family left was Tao... 'You left me Mitsukai...You left me and hid yourself away within the earth.' Tears streamed down her face as the realization had hit her. The war and battles had distracted her from emotion and love. She had resented her true feelings for Tao, and she had pushed away her despair for the loss of her only true friend. Tao had been a mentor and lover, but not a friend she could confide to. 'You left me...' 'You promised me...' 'And d*mn you for breaking that...' The tears continued... Without knowing, Akuhei tightened her grip around Tao's neck, holding him close to her, not wanting to lose him either. Tao felt Akuhei's grip tighten around his neck. He looked down at her and smiled to see her recovering. "Answers never hold what is in the best interest for those you love..." Emasia's eyes softened and she closed them, revealing silver diamonds upon her eyelids. "Whatever the cost, whatever the price, we have shed enough blood for more to be put at stake for our cowardiness." Tao frowned to see such despair in the Goddesse's aura...her vibration was not healthy and all the flowers began to wither as she lifted her hands. "The eye of truth, sees all and knows all..." And through her hands came vines of death, destroying the grass, the skies and the trees around them. Her eyes flashed open, they were a bright blue color now, reflecting power and wisdom. "Zwu Calodore Mweh vwan...Kani! Ovwah Ze Qui Le Mroi..." Emasia's voice echoed, silence falling as the wave bursted through the dimension and once again they stood in darkness. Akuhei lifted her head from Tao's shoulder, a sad and grim look upon her face as she repeated the words of the Auron Goddess, "The eye of truth cannot condemn its fate to you, for it needs the other bearer to be at the hand of the sister Goddess." 'Their entire army. There must have been thousands of them. Dressed in a dark black, with hooded capes of blood red...We couldn't escape...' 'You lied to us.' 'You led us into a trap.' 'They took her right out of my hands...out of my reach...' 'How could you?! How could you do this?' 'You knew, as I did when I first laid eyes on her.' 'You betrayed me, you betrayed her...' 'Hogosha...you lied to us.'
