Akuhei lay on the soft ground, a soft fire burning at her feet and various silks and furs wrapped at her sides. Her eyes were partially opened, just enought to take in her surroundings. Her breath shortened when she saw a figure laying on the other side of her...
" Tao..." His dark hair gently curved along his cheekbones and jaw line, and his breathing was soft and systematic.
"...oh...Tao..." Akuhei gently rolled over to wrap her arms around him.

Tao's eyes opened to see her violet hair cascade gently across his chest and her head lay below his chin.
" I had to get you away from there...They knew you were coming..." Tao lifted his head to look into Akuhei's dark marroon eyes. Her eyes glistenend in the moonlight and her heart sunk.
" Kitana...?" Akuhei breathed slowly.
" Shes alive, she didn't go in...too cowardly." Tao scorned.

" HOW DARE YOU!" Akuhei raised her head and narrowed her eyes, resenting the words that came out of his mouth, slipping so absently from his tongue. " Listen to me! You dont know Kitana like I do! You dont know her! " Tao's voice echoed through the forest.
" What do you mean? " Akuhei's voice began to quiver...
