2002 Handicart Drag Race

    The 2003 Fred Meyer Drag race's were held this year on September 5th,  Racers included 2nd year Chris P., and two first timers, Cory Q. and, Chris G.F. the competition was fierce and ended with a surprise win as Cory stole the Gold not just in the warm-up heats, but in the final runs. Chris had good take off but fell behind in all 3 heats due to lack of focus. He claims "that my left broken leg was a big distraction," well it must have been more than just a big distraction after he successfully not just once, but twice left his lane forcing Driver Chris P. to leave his lane and re-enter the race multiple times. it was a thrilling race and nobody left disappointed after the show was finished.
