Romancing the Divine: A Story About True Love

By Don Nori

It is the chronicle of a mysterious journey of divine passion and human desire. It unfolds at the crossroad of true love and personal uncertainty.

Romancing the Divine begins where Pilgram's Progress ends.

A fictional allegory, it is the story of one person's struggle with his inadequacies and sense of failure on one side, and his longing to know the reason for his existence on the other. He grapples with divine destiny while attempting to gain the favor of the One who has orchestrated his reason for living. This traveler meets the Lord many time along the way and comes to intense confrontations with himself, the enemies of his soul, and the Lord he so desperately loves.

Some dismiss this love story as merely a work of fiction. They are certain that such encounters do not exist in the real world. But there are those who insist that the story happened exactly the way it is recorded in these pages; that the Divine can most certainly be romanced; that these possibilities await those who are hungry enough to touch the invisible.

The Traveler merely followed his heart. He gave in to the yearning of his heart.

Much to his surprise, he found true love.

Why Not Women?

By Loren Cunningham and David Joel Hamilton with Janice Rogers

Multiplied millions of women all over the world are looking over the church's shoulder, longing to see the freedom Jesus purchased for them at Calvary. Millions more have found freedom in Jesus but are still bound by human ideas - ideas that pressure a women to let culture, not God, determine her place in the kingdom.

While hurting men and women outside the church cry out, "Is there any hope? Does anyone care?" their sisters in the church are asking, "How can I share the hope I have? How can I, a women, serve the Lord?" Many women, having heard God call them into public roles in the Kingdom, are serving in positions of leadership. They are asking, "Will the church support us?"

We must respond. The issue of women in missions, ministry, and leadership is dividing homes, churches, communities, even societies. We must respond responsibly, for we never want to find ourselves working against God's purposes, quenching His Spirit at work in the lives of those He has called. We must respond carefully, since God's truth often stands in direct opposition to what the majority of people believe.
