Hey Everyone. My name is Becca and I am the creator of this site. I created this site because I enjoy working on new things...it gives me something to do, and a place to put my work, and to put just about anything else I want!
You came to this page to figure out who I am, so I guess I should get started, huh? I am a Christian, in case you couldn’t tell that already, and I do my best to follow Christ in every way that I can. There are times that I struggle with my relationship with the Lord, but he still sticks with me through everything.
I am currently involved in working in Kid’s church and feel that God may be calling me to be a Kid’s Evangelist. It will be totally awesome if I do get to be a kid’s Evangelist because I love kids so much and every time I work with them, I feel as though I’m being blessed more than them-which isn't the main reason I work with them of course, it's just another way God blesses us for doing things for him. I find it amazing tho, how God use kid’s to speak to the hearts of others.
Another passion of mine is photography. This is another possibility I’m looking at for my career choice. There’s a joy I get when I take pictures, especially ones of nature. Then, I can go back to my computer and look at the pics while saying, “Wow, God created all of that.” I’ve written a poem called (a href="poems/artist.html)“The Artist” and it was the pics of nature that inspired me to write that. It talks about God being the Artist. I hope some of you will check it out.
Speaking of poems, I am also a writer, as you may have noticed already. I have my own way of writing so it makes it difficult for me to do well in English because we are told to write in a way different from mine. But it’s all good. I really enjoy writing poetry but I am also into writing essays or what ever you would call them. When I read my Bible and something stands out, or if God speaks to me thru a situation I’m in or through someone else, I write about it. So those are the main writings you’ll see from me in this site.
So, I write, take pics, working with kids…What else is there? Well, I sing. Singing is something I will do anywhere. I have sung in stores while shopping, I sing to myself when taking a test (though I try to keep it quiet for others who are testing). What can I say, I sing and I luv it!!!
You know the main stuff, now for some of the smaller things. My fav Bible verse is Philippians 4:12-13 “I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation…I can do all things through him who gives me strength.” I do my best to live by that verse, and it has helped me out so many times.
If my house was on fire and I had just enough time to grab something to save, I would grab my Bibles, other important books of mine, my floppy that has my poems on it, and a box that contains my unsent letters…by then I’d probably be dead huh? Maybe I should keep all that stuff closer together w/ a box near by, hehe, may work better to do that. My fav colors are blue and silver. Blue because it reminds me of a clear summer sky and the ocean, and silver because…well, I don’t know why, it just is. My least fav colors are black (reminds me of death because u were black when u go to a funeral) Pink (too girly) and red (darker version of pink, lol).
