Hi, my name is Jake Newman, and I like to skateboard. If you decide to get a skateboard, you should get it at a skateshop. DO NOT: buy your skateboard at a toy store! You should also buy a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist pads. After you get all of this stuff you should be ready to skateboard. The first thing you should do is to see if you are comfortable riding with yor left foot forward or your right foot forward. Then you should learn how to push the board with your foot. After you have mastered doing both of these you will be ready to try the ollie, which is where you jump up in the air without grabbing the board.
