Watch of Impatience

Michael, a thirteen year-old boy, is having trouble in school and hates doing his chores. One day, Michael came across an old lady. The old lady said,"If you hate responsibility so much, then take this magic watch." Michael did and then the lady told him,"but be warned, for the watch possesses a great magical power." When Michael  got home he had to do chores for his mother. Michael didn't want to do it and then he remembered that the lady gave him the watch. Michael then twist the watch ahead one hour and was warped into a vortex of darkness and came out in his room. Michael then looks on his computer to see what the date is. Michael sees that it is a whole hour ahead of when first warped. Michael sees that all his chores are done and then sees that he can escape all the hardships of life.
Michael got his History Test back and got a D on it. When Michael showed it to his parents, they told him that he was grounded for a whole week and took all his stuff out his room. Michael turned the watch ahead a week and when he came out the vortex he was in his room. Michael

saw that all his stuff was back in his room when he came out the vortex. Michael then was filled with joy that he escaped punishment.
Michael wanted a new vidogame and asked his dad if he could get it. Michael's dad said that he would have to wait until Christmas. Christmas was a whole 6 months away so Michael turned his watch to that time. Michael came out of the vortex on Christmas Eve and got\to open his Christmas presents the next day. Sure enough, Michael's videogame were right there.
Michael was missing out on all the things in life- good and bad. When Michael's sister came into town, she talked about how great college life was. Michael really wanted to leave home from his parents and experience the real world. When Michael warped to college, the first day he really missed his parents and wanted to go home. Michael stuck through first semester and when he got his report card, he saw that he had failed all his classes.
