She's from other world that live below of the water.(they can breath in the water other can control it and aspen is one of the most powerfull of that raze because she comes from a royal family. The thing is when she was like 13 years old, she was missing and after 10 years reapeared in a cruser which also hadd 10 years lost and then comeback to San Diego and nobody remember anything nor what happened, not even the crew. So, in the comic, Aspen the main charater is about to know was is she capable to do and how control her powers.
