Within the game of Everquest, on most official server boards, you can see three or four listings for weddings at any particular time. Weddings can be large guild or public celebrations or smaller, more intimate affairs.
It is not uncommon to see someone shouting in POK for a Cleric or Druid to preform a wedding ceremony for a small price, on the RPG server Firiona Vie i have seen shouts for wedding ceremonys some times 2 or 3 per week, and as a Cleric i have preformed a few myself useing the following Traditional Wedding Ceremony below...
Before you begin!
After evryone has arived and settled down the Cleric or Druid (you) should instruct all attendees to remove all head gear and disarm all weapons.
NOTE: if in a hostle area post high level well equiped guards around the area.
BEGIN- Tonight/Today (Bride Name) and (Groome Name) have asked that each one of you be present for there wedding, as you have in some way contributed to this union. I ask akk of those gathered here to join in this joyful celebration with them and that you witness their sacred pledges to each other.
(Brind Name) and ( Groom Name) if you have come here freely and with love signify by saying "Aye"
