AVP is a great game that has 3 totaly different types of  characters you can play as Colonial Marine, Alien, and Predator.
The Singleplayer mode is ok but i never cared much for it, but where AVP realy shines is in multiplayer becouse AVP is one of the fastest paced games around with one of if not the tallest learning curve of any game becouse it can take at least 1 to 2 years just to be skilled enough to compete with the masters of the game. The wiered thing about AVP is it keeps drawing you back to it.
All in all AVP Gold gets an A+
