Hello. My name is Erwin Roach. I'd like to
take this opportunity to welcome you to my website. I have always been interested
in knives of all shapes and sizes. For years I had entertained the thought of
making my own knives. In 2001 I made a couple of knives out of Steel Files.
They were tanto-style knives with either wood or bone handles, and although
they were quite functional, they weren't very visually attractive. In May of
2003 a friend from Church gave me a copy of "BLADE" Magazine, and with the help
of the internet and fellow knifemakers, the interest is stronger than ever.
Although I am constantly learning, as we all should be, I pride myself in making
a knife that looks nice and CAN be used. If you are interested, I can build
a knife of one of several standard patterns that I use, or a knife of your own
