News posted by Jason [7.4.05]
Happy 4th of July and a huge THANK YOU to every man and woman who has served or is currently serving in the US military. Hey, Just checkin' in...rumor has it we have a show lined up in June, hopefully the person who books our shows can get us a few more this summer. Right now we are playing for selective audiences every week (people come hang out at our band practice to let us know what they think). If you would like to come check us out, contact one of us and it will be no problem. Also, Cyanodium has an official Myspace up with music and pictures, so be sure to check that out. That's all. News posted by Jason [3.30.05]We would like to introduce to everyone the newest member of CYANODIUM, our drummer David Chavez. We have been jamming with him for a few weeks now and we're looking forward to playing some shows with him as soon as we can. We are also expecting to record one or two songs in the next week or so to put up here on the website for everyone to hear and get a feel for what direction we're heading and what the new demo will sound like after we get all of the new music recorded and into everyone's hands...You may have also noticed a new logo floating around the site, feel free to let us know what you think about it(though the colors may change). We'll see you soon... News posted by Jason [3.16.05] Well...here's my first post. We've been really busy writing and writing new songs and learning them lately. We've also been trying out a drummer and teaching him our songs in the past week or two. As of now, we are looking to record a 5 song demo some time in late April. We are looking forward to the new 'chapter' of this band, which has completely evolved from the "Down the Well" you once knew. We have been looking for and thinking about names, and we have come up with a few, but one particularly sticks out in our heads-Cyanodium. Tell us what you think, we can't wait to get back to PLAYING SHOWS and KICKING ASS!!! STAY BRUTAL!!! News posted by Spahr [1.15.04]Hey, we have been writing so much new material, you won't even recognize us. Since we last played, we have written 6 or 7 songs that are all really good. Hopefully we can get back into the show circuit soon to let you all know what the new DTW sounds like. I have been told that we might even get Mike's bio and equipment lists today, so I maybe can get those up this weekend. Thats all for now. Well, not a whole lot going on lately. We have been writing up a storm, and our new material is really coming together. We are getting anxious about recording, and hopefully by next month we can get into the studio. Still no shows scheduled, but that will be changing come January with luck. I think thats pretty much it, Slayer kicked ass the other night. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. RIP DARREL "DIMEBAG" ABBOTT News posted by Spahr [11.18.04] Hey everyone. Well, the site's color scheme is finally finished, and some pages have been removed just because of their lack of importance. Ricky and I were working for about 2 hours on the site today to get it up to par. And finally, we have made a big dent in it. Everything isn't complete, but its looking a lot better. News posted by Spahr [11.12.04] As you can see, big changes here on the website. We got some of the pics up on the members page, and we are currently undergoing a new (and a little more metal) color scheme. As you can imagine, this takes so long to do, so be patient as you watch the site transform into one that is a lot better. News posted by Spahr [11.8.04] Hey all, what's happening? A lot has been going down here with DTW. It looks like our good buddy, Mike Calderon, who has been with DTW on and off since September, is ready to pick up the sticks once again. Provided everything goes the way we hope it will, his bio will be up soon. The band has been getting together a lot lately to rewrite old material, throw out some stuff, and write a lot of new stuff. As you guessed, this takes time, so don't plan on seeing or hearing us play most likely until next year...but then again, with DTW officially back on the books, (wow, that took long...a whole 9 days), its impossible to say whether or not to be expecting anything. There have been a lot of updates around the site, things that needed it for a while. The site is still being rebuilt, as you can see, but we have gotten most of it back up for you all. We are still looking for another guitarist, so if you are interested, hit the email! News posted by Spahr [11.1.04] Hey All!! It feels great to finally get back and do updates on the site myself...it has been a while! As you all know, because most of you can read, yes Justin as well as Darkness Falls Promotions and Down The Well have parted ways for musical differences and is agreed by all to be the best for everyone. My personal thanks go out to Justin, who has seemed more like a brother than a drummer these last 18 months, and though we are all sad to see him leave, DTW wishes him the best of luck musically and promotionally. We have gotten back on the horse and are rebuilding the website (mostly last night and this morning) because of the changing of hands and we are hoping to get everything back and fully funcional again by this evening. We have been in constant communication with each other since the show and we are having a band meeting to discuss all topics in this mini rebuilding stage. Stick with us. Again, our email is theband@downthewell.cjb.net ..so if you want in on updates, secret shows, and all the other perks of knowing what your favorite brutal band is up to, just email us with subject: Webmaster. Thanks again for being with us through all of this. -DJ, Jason, and Ricky News posted by Justin [10.30.04] Hey Everyone thanks for coming out to our show last night at the Cobalt, and to our little moshin kiddies. We will be trying out guitarists and getting back to playing shows once we find one same deal with finding a bassist.
