Each child has the opportunity to play on a team, attend practice and
have scheduled games just as a child would on a typical little league
team. A special field has been built with padded run way and bases which
are made especially for wheelchairs. Each player has a buddy who
supports the player as needed.

My Personal Experience:
I am the proud parent of two beautiful daughters. My youngest daughter
is diagnosed with mental retardation and sensory integration dysfunction.
I have had 16 years of experience with an individual with a disability. I
know every aspect of raising a child with a disability. I know how hard it
can be and I know what a joyous experience this can be. This experience
has led me to follow my desire to assist other families with a loved one with a
disability. Watching my daughter encounter her hardships and still enjoy
life to the fullest has placed a desire in my heart to assist other individuals
with a disability pursue and live their lives to the fullest. My personal
experience is the most important experience I believe I have attained.
