"I JUST WISH I HAD ARMFULS OF TIME"

This page is dedicated to my wonderful son, Chance.
This son of mine is the child every mother dreams of having.
At the age of 14 years he has overcome brain cancer and ADHD and works every day to deal with seizures.
None of this has ever slowed him down nor made him bitter.
He looks at life as wide open space to explore, to learn, and to teach others.
Chance is a kind and loving individual who will give you his last piece of bread if you are hungry.
He makes friends with anyone who needs a friend, and can often be seen eating lunch with a child in a wheelchair that is all alone.
My son has taught me and many others that life may be short or long, but you have to take it by the horns and live to the fullest, enjoy each moment and have all the laughs and hugs you can.
God put my son here on earth for a special purpose.
We don't know that purpose yet but I am sure when the time comes it will be shown.
God has a plan for all his family and a reason for giving some of them hardships and trials.
Maybe he is here to teach Doctors that only God can make miracles, or to teach people to be kind to others with disabilities.
Or maybe even to teach me that I am strong and can keep going even when I want to give up.
All I know is that i am blessed to have him for my son and will be thankful for every day that he is with me.
Chance, son, this page is dedicated to you.

FROM CHANCE:I want to thank Dr. Fuchs and Dr. DeLong at Duke Hospital in NC. Also Dr. Evans at Backus Childrens Hospital in Ga. And FLASH at Happy Days & Special Times in SC, for being my friend and taking me to camp every year. I love you all and will never forget you. And Also, Dr. Broome at Backus for being my buddy. And my little brother Josh M. from Caged Kids. Hang in their little bro!!I love you.

Life throws you a bad deal and you never let it get you down
Alot of grown ups could learn from you
But you are my little man even tho we have never met
Seems like I have known u for a long time
You hang in there Little Man god has a purpose for you
