The Dumbasses Have Spoken

Ok, so George W. Bush won the election fairly this time. He actually won with MORE people voting for him than not. This comes as a major surprise to me, as I did everything possible to stop it. So I decided to analyze the people that voted for him to see if I could find any significant statistics. A couple weeks ago, I came across a list of all 50 states ranked based on average IQ (source: ). In moron terms, states ranked smartest to dumbest. Our homeland of Wisconsin came in at number 18. The following table shows each state ranked in descending order by IQ, and which candidate the state went to in the election. See if you can spot anything significant.

Wow. This is why I love statistics. They can point a clear cause to an outcome (or, problem in this case). Based on this data, the average IQ of a person in a state that went to John Kerry is 104 and the state's average rank is 10. The average IQ of a person in a Bush state is 93 and the average rank is 34. That, my friends, is a correlation. Remember, a correlation proves nothing but shows a major trend, which is what we have here. The dumbasses have spoken, and they have chosen their King as President.
