Sanders Vs. Williams
In what could be a very exciting fight, Corrie Sanders of South Africa will take of Danny Willams of England. Both bring excellent records into the contest. Williams is 26-1 and Sanders is 37-2. The winner of this fight will be considered a top 20 fighter and maybe even a top 10 fighter by the boxing public and could perhaps get a title shot in the near future. The bout will take place in South Africa on October 26th.
Saverese vs. Whitherspoon this weekend
On Sunday night at the will feature an interesting match up between two boxing veterans. Lou Saverese (42-4) will take on former heavyweight champion Tim Whitherspoon (54-11-1). This is a must win fight for both fighters if they ever wish to reach the top ten ever again, given there ages. Saverese is 37 years old, and Whitherspoon is 44.
Whitherspoon has been on a role as of late, he has only one loss in his last 10 fights against contender, Monte Barrett. In that run he has beaten a number of fringe contenders, including David Bostice, Darrol Wilson, and Ahmed Ahbin.
Saverese has won three in a row since his atrocious performance against Mike Tyson. This is a fight between two evenly matched fighters. A few years ago, I would have picked Witherspoon to win fairly easily. But now, I see Tim as being a little too old. Given that Saverese is a few years younger, as well as in better condition, I expect him to pull off the victory.

TYSON-ENTINEE
It looks like all is a go for the Tyson_entinne. It wiill be tysons first fight back for Tyson since getting knocked out by Lexenis Lewis in there recent bout. entinne has a reconrd to 24-1-1. He is comming off of a draw against Frans Botha last month. He his 5-0-1 since his only loss against Frez Oquendo. A formal announcement is expected soon.
Micheal Grant back in action
Micheal grant will make his return to the ring. The bout is scheduled on Nov. 7th in Washighton Dc. No oponitne has yet to be named.
Byrd-Holyfield getting close.
The IBF title bout between Evander HOlyfield and Cris Byrd is getting closer to being finalized. the date is schedled for December 14, at a site yet to be anounced.
