Stuff about Australia:[these are random facts about australia]The 2nd survivor was hosted here. I'm almost sure there are 3 or more animals found here that aren't found anywhere else, the kangaroo, the koala, and the platapus.
There are also over 7,000 beaches in Australia, the most in any continent [Surfs Up!]. Some tourist attractions are the Great Barrier Reef, the Gold Coast resort area in Queensland Ayers Rock, and Alice Springs in the hot dry center of Australia. Each year many people go diving to see the Great Barrier Reef up close. Dolphins, dugongs, manta rays, huge cod, and sharks are all found in the Western part of Australia's coral reefs. These reefs are home to about 250 species of coral and about 520 species of fish. People in Australia also do many tours, they have air tours, self drive tours, ocean tours, and coach tours. On these tours people are shown, the Australian outback. In a place called Shark Bay there are many different types of animal, including 17 species of mammals, ninety-eight species of reptiles and amphibians and over 230 species of birds have been recorded. Some main sea mammals there are the Humpback whale, sea turtle, dugong, manta ray, and dolphin.
There are also camping sites, so tourists can see Australia's wild life, and Australia's "Outback." From Yallingup through Margaret River to Augusta is famous for its caves, these caves are said to be a "Caver's Delight." These caves are also called the "Most sparkling caves in the world." ....A picture of these caves will be availible shortly. Also north of Augusta, you come to Jewel Cave, where there are pillars of jewels, and jewels just sticking out of the wall.
Australia's land is based on mostly beaches, and wild life areas, but on the coast of Australia there is the Great Barrier Reef. There are also caves in the South West of Australia. Because of Australia's wild life, there are many camping sites as a tourist attraction. And because of the wild life many people will go to see Australia's animals, like the platapus, kangaroo, and koala, mostly these animals because they can only be found in Australia!
