I first heard Green Day on Vh1. It was their video for "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)". I had no clue who Green Day was or anything. I was a clueless 11 or 12 year old (how sad is that I don't even remember how old I was). When they first came out I wasn't old enough to know who they were either, so I got into them when this guy who is in my homeroom (I think I was a freshman then) was telling me to listen to Green Day and that they're an awesome band and just don't listen to them when you're stoned it'll lose the effect or something like that is what he said. Yes I took his advice since I knew that I did kind of like them. I went out and bought Warning. I liked it enough to go out and buy International Superhits!. I then got Dookie for Christmas last year I think, so i'm still continuening to complete my green day collection if at all possible. Dookie, Warning, and International Superhits! are the only cd's of theirs that I own, and I love them all. I still don't know what the point of getting Dookie was other than the fact that that was supposedly one of their best albums or something like that. I believe I heard that on Vh1 as well. everything must start and end with Vh1...all well. another scary thing, my mother also likes green day...
