Cheese Nachos
Description: Also called Nachos Express or Normal Nachos. These are Taco Bell's
high quality, crispy nachos with their creamy nacho cheese sauce. My Opinion: Taco Bell's old nacho chips were decent, but wow, if you haven't
tried their new nacho chips yet, go try them NOW. Right this minute, darn it!
Taco Bell advertised their new chips saying that they were bigger, crispier,
less prone to getting soggy and stronger so they could hold more toppings on
them without breaking. Well, guess what? THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE! IMO, you
should try out the other, bigger nacho dishes that Taco Bell has to offer, but
if you just want to enjoy the texture of the chips and the creamy, spicy nacho
cheese alone, go for it.Beef Nachos Supreme
Description: A slightly higher amount of chips than you get with Cheese Nachos,
topped with beef, beans, nacho cheese, tomatoes and sour cream. This item went
through quite a few changes to get to where it is today, actually. Years back,
the Nachos Supreme was everything it is now, except without meat. If you wanted
meat, you would have to ask for the Big Beef Nachos Supreme. Taco Bell decided
to get rid of the old version of the Nachos Supreme and call the Big Beef
Nachos Supreme just plain old Nachos Supreme. Whew, that was a mouthful! My Opinion: Ohhhh how delicious it is! The crisp, tasty chips now start to
flex their topping holding muscles! Needless to say, all five toppings taste
awesome on the chip, plus they taste awesome combined on the chip (the taste of
the beef combined with the nacho cheese and sour cream is particularly
kickass)! You can also experient with different topping combinations on a chip
just for fun! :DChicken Nachos Supreme
Description: Geeeeenerous chuuunks of chiiiicken are added to the other four
yummy toppings instead of beef. My Opinion: Oh yes, this is awesome. The chicken goes very well with the
nacho cheese. The other toppings are fine accompiniments. Also, the crunchy
texture of the chip and the tender texture of the chicken are quite enjoyable
together.Steak Nachos Supreme
Description: Here's something you won't find at a steakhouse; steak chunks on
top of corn tortilla chips with the other taaaaasty fooour toooppings... My Opinion: I know I said that Taco Bell Steak and Taco Bell Beans go well
together, but for some reason I don't enjoy this Nachos Supreme as much as the
other two. Nonetheless, it's still very tasty, especially if you are a steak
connisseur.Beef Nachos Belgrande
Description: An even bigger portion of everything the Beef Nachos Supreme has
with the addition of green onions on top. My Opinion: Ohhhh soooo delicious. This is the perfect portion of Taco
Bell's awesome nachos and will satisfy almost any nacho craving! The green onions
on top add a nice spicy finishing touch to the already great tasting topping
combination! It is for all these reasons that I give this my SEAL OF APPROVAL!Chicken Nachos Belgrande
Description: More chicken, more chips, more toppings, green onions. Yum. My Opinion: Yes! So good!! The spice added by the green onions go very well with the chicken as well as everything else! Another SEAL OF APPROVAL!Steak Nachos Belgrande
Description: More steak for your stomach, plus the addition of the naturally
spicy green onions. My Opinion: Like the Steak Nachos Supreme, this is good, but for some reason
doesn't quite reach the heights of enjoyment I receive from the Beef and
Chicken Nachos Belgrandes.Chili Cheese Nachos Belgrande Description: This is just like a Beef Nachos Belgrande but with Taco Bell chili instead of beef. They have also omitted the green onions for no apparent reason. My Opinion: I'm glad to see the Taco Bell chili again, but it's not like it used to be. Back when I had the Chili Cheese Burrito, the chili was WAY hotter. I guess they figured that most people don't like that much heat. Oh well, it's still quite tasty, but not so much as to warrant a seal. Also, where's the green onions!? Sheesh!Beef Mucho Grande Nachos
Description: A nacho BONANZA. A ton of nacho chips smothered in a truckload of
everything the Nachos Belgrade has, plus the addition of slices of olives and
jalapeno peppers. My Opinion: Talk about nacho OVERKILL! This in and of itself could be a
meal! I myself do not like the olives and jalapenos, so I ask that they be
omitted. Without those toppings, I thoroughly enjoy this. I don't get it often,
however, because when I get this item I don't have enough room afterwards to
have other different Taco Bell items! Hehe. One tip I would like to give you
about eating a Mucho Grande Nacho dish is this: Try eating it fairly quickly;
even though Taco Bell's nacho chips are stronger than before and don't sog as
easy, under ALL THAT TOPPING even they will buckle after a while. :)Chicken Mucho Grande Nachos
Description: Mmmm...pile on that chicken and toppings...but hold the olives and
peppers for Crazy Gordita. :P My Opinion: If you love Taco Bell's chicken and are extremely hungry, you'll
love this. If one of these doesn't quiet your stomach, not much else will.Steak Mucho Grande Nachos
Description: A heap of chips, a heap of steak, a heap of beans, a heap of sour
cream, a heap of tomatoes, a heap of nacho cheese sauce, a heap of green onions, a heap of olives and a heap of jalapeno. Heap. My Opinion: For people with huge stomachs and huge steak cravings. Not much
more needs to be said, really.Meatless 7 Layer Nachos Description: A lot of ingredients in a small space, the chips in this dish are topped with nacho cheese, beans, Red Sauce, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, green onions and special red tortilla strips. Just so everyone knows, Taco Bell's sour cream has gelatin, which is an animal biproduct, so vegetarians that don't want to consume this should hold the sour cream or not get it. This food item was recently remade into the 7 Layer Dip Nachos, which is the exact same thing except for the fact that there are no green onions and the dollops of sour cream and guacamole are closer together, thereby making them easier to mix together. My Opinion: Very yummy! The best part of this item is the fact that you can taste the succulent flavor that the guacamole and sour cream combination provides along with a crunchy texture. The nice combined flavor of the beans and Red Sauce is also here. Even though there is so much flavor, my tongue does not get confused. The only qualm I have with this is the fact that it's so small. I think this dish should have been made as big as the Belgrande lineup. Still, it tastes sensational!Beef 7 Layer Nachos Description: As if there weren't enough ingredients in this already, you can get this nacho item with beef. This IS an advertised item. My Opinion: The beef goes great with everything else that's already there, even the guacamole. Well worth the extra pennies!Chicken 7 Layer Nachos Description: Yet another meat dives into the small, yet filled to the brim pool of veggies, sauces and other various tasty things. This is also an official product. My Opinion: The chicken also tastes great added to this nacho item; it's spices mingle nicely with the others, even moreso than the beef, plus the texture seems to be more enjoyable.Steak 7 Layer Nachos Description: You knew this was gonna happen :); now the steak gets it's chance to bathe in the cornocopia of tastes that are the 7 Layer Nacho Toppings. THIS configuration is NOT adversised. My Opinion: For some reason, steak just doesn't go a well with nacho dishes as beef and chicken do. Like always, however, they do still taste good, though. The steak goes best with the beans and Red Sauce in this dish, so there are familiar flavor combinaions for those wanting to taste something classic along with something new.Beef Zesty Nachos Description: This dish has beef, sour cream, tomatoes, nacho cheese sauce plus some new kind of zesty sauce. My Opinion: This is a very tasty new item. The two sauces go surprisingly well together and cover everything in a blanket of cheesy spicy deliciousness. Don't get your tongues in a ruffle (if that's even physically possible), the new sauce is not hot at all...just really really good. :DChicken Zesty Nachos Description: Wow, editing this site can be hazardous to my hunger...my stomach is growling so bad right now, lol... My Opinion: WOW! The chicken tastes FANTASTIC with the two sauces!!! This is easily one of my favorite nacho dishes now!! SEALED AND APPROVED!!!Steak Zesty Nachos Description: The funny thing is, the default, advertised version is beef, for once. My Opinion: So yeah, chicken is the best tasting, followed by beef and then steak. They're all good, though, and I recommend you try them because it's a really tasty combination. Since there aren't that many ingredients besides the sauces, one could also say it's easier to eat than other TB nacho dishes, since you don't have to worry about getting everything on a chip at once.Triple Layer Nachos Description: A small nacho dish with beans, red sauce and nacho cheese. My Opinion: This dish is very reminiscent of the Tostada. It's not bad, but the Tostada was way better. I'd rather have a Nachos Supreme over this...or a Tostada. Can you tell that I miss the Tostada?Beef Fully Loaded Nachos Description: If you dump a Nachos Belgrande into a crispy corn tortilla bowl that's used to make the Taco Salad, sprinkle some red corn strips on top, then put a dollop of Fiesta Salsa on one side and a dollop of guacamole on the other, you have a Fully Loaded Nachos. Also, buried under all this is some of the three cheese blend (thanks for the update Mike). My Opinion: So yeah...there's nothing really special about this. Although I love the Nachos Belgrande, putting it into a corn bowl and adding a couple of condiments doesn't make it that much better. I actually didn't even want to eat the bowl, it was too much corn and too much sodium for my taste (yes, I realize that food from Taco Bell has a significant amount of sodium in general, but in this dish, it actually detracts from eating enjoyment). The only person I can recommend this to is someone who REALLY likes tortilla chips.Chicken Fully Loaded Nachos Description: Reality Check, Taco Bell...throwing an old item into a corn shell doesn't make it new. My Opinion: If you've had a Nachos Belgrande, you've basically had this already, except with a little bit of Fiesta Salsa and guacamole on the side and extra red corn. These taste fine, but I really didn't care for the bowl or the unoriginality.Steak Fully Loaded Nachos Description: Steak Nachos Belgrande with more corn. Enough said. My Opinion: Nothing special and too much corn. Yup.Beefy 5 Layer Nachos Description: Take the Triple Layer Nachos and add the three cheese blend and beef and you have this item. My Opinion: Nice and tasty! If you want a decent amount of nacho but aren't hungry enough for a Belgrande, this is the ticket. Beef and nacho cheese sauce are great together, like always...this flavor takes center stage.Chickeny 5 Layer Nachos Description: The same as above with chicken. Nuff said. My Opinion: Also a nice, tasty treat. Doesn't have any green onions, but there's plenty of flavor and a good amount of food for the money (this is on the value menu).Steaky 5 Layer Nachos Description: Yet another praise of the steak, beans and red sauce combination in 3...2...1... My Opinion: The steak, beans and red sauce are very delicious together!! You cannot go wrong with this one. This is my favorite out of the three.Beef Volcano Nachos Description: Beef, beans, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, lava sauce, jalapeno peppers, and red strips make up this nacho dish. My Opinion: I really don't like the taste or heat of the jalapeno peppers, so I remove them from this. It appears I was wrong about the Lava Sauce...there is only one version of it. Funny thing is, how hot it is seems to be directly proportional to how much is on the food. It doesn't bother me at all in smaller amounts, but if there's a lot, it is a challenge to consume. On these nachos, there is a moderate amount of Lava Sauce, people with decent heat tolerance should be just fine. It tastes pretty good, but seems too simple for me. I'd much rather have a Nachos Belgrande over this.Chicken Volcano Nachos Description: Yup...chicken now. Nuff said. My Opinion: Just as good as the beef, it's quite nice, you'd probably like it more than me if you're into eating really hot food.Steak Volcano Nachos Description: Steak and beans...how can you go wrong? My Opinion: If I had to pick a winner, it would be this, cuz if you know me you know I like this combo.BACK TO TACO BELL MENU...
