Strawberry Fruitista Freeze Description: A strawberry smoothie topped with real strawberries. My Opinion: I had high hopes for this...but I have to say that I really didn't like it. I know it's made with natural fruit flavor, but something about the syrup tastes artificial. It made my throat tingle...it felt weird. It simply was not refreshing. I don't recommend it at all.Mango Strawberry Fruitista Freeze Description: This one is a Mango smoothie, but still topped with strawberries. My Opinion: Same thing...when I take a sip, it tastes very artificial and my throat tingles. I honestly don't know what it could be, but it rubs me (or rather, my throat) the wrong way. I also tried mixing the two flavors together...still not worth drinking in my opinion. :: shrug :: Mario's opinion on the Fruitista Freezes: The Frustista Freezes are the next big thing at Taco Bell, and it seems they
will be along for a while. They come in two varieties, Mango Strawberry, and
Strawberry. They are topped with Fresh Strawberries and Strawberry Syrup. I, in
my opinion prefer the Strawberry Frutista freeze the best simply because I have
been raised on the strawberry flavor, rather than mango. Not to say the Mango
isn't good, because it is, but Strawberry is far superior. The strawberries on
top just taunts you to buy one. While the strawberries add a nice texture, it's
the actual syrup that the strawberries are encased in that is delicious. The
syrup is sweet and tasty, and when mixed with the Frutista Freeze itself, it's
out of this world. A common trend I have noticed is that people will get their
Freezes half-and-half. Honestly, it's the best way to get it. The two flavors
complement each other nicely, and when mixed well with the strawberry syrup,
it's a dream to taste and I can honestly say that these new freezes will be
around for years to come hopefully, otherwise, disposing of such large machines
would be a waste. How do they compare to other ICEEs and smoothies, well, to me,
it doesn't have that artificial taste as it tastes like real mangos and
strawberries. I can say they are much better than an icee and probably cheaper
depending on where you go. Cheers!Triple Berries and Creme Fruitista Freeze Description: What three berries are they, you ask? Who knows, there's no description saying what they are. They also add some vanilla cream to the drink. You can get the creme in any version. My Opinion: Wow, that cream is good. It makes the whole drink way more tolerable and tasty. Seriously, it goes great with the fruit and my mouth and throat tingle less. If I ever get this again, I am going to tell them to put tons of extra cream.BACK TO TACO BELL MENU...
