I spent a night onboard enroute to the USS Peleliu I was on the USS Peleliu from December 1, 2001 until February 23, 2001 Due to bad weather at sea, went spent 5 days in both Perth and Sydney, Australia. This building and tower were destroyed during the Gulf War, this is next to Highway 80 aka "The Highway of Death."
