Iraq Pictures taken from Video

Mandatory motorcycle pictures. This is the first one I was able to get a picture of.
Most of the bikes I saw were from East Europe and probably Russia
MZ,CZ and Jawa were the most common bikes. I did see one early '80s Kawasaki 1000cc 4 cyl

This is a German MZ
One late afternoon I was relaxing out in front of the house I was living in. It had belonged to some high-ranking Baathist. This hottie across the street was jumping up and down waving at me. I think she wanted to go home with me. I would've taken her if I was allowed.:-)
The guy outside the fence waiting for a ride heard something going on and took a look over the fence. Later some older women left the house, one was looking towards me and grinning. I guess the girl told her mother about me. Hehe : D
As these guys passed by, the younger guy pulled the old guy's headwrap off. Hehe, playing for the camera.
This is the gate that leads into the west side of Al Kut
Beside the building where the spec ops guys were living was a confiscated stash of SKS rifles
Golf Company 2nd Battalion 8th Marines, the first unit I was attached to. Poor 1stSgt wasn't able to take home the old Harley Davidson he found in an alley. We had the thing in the backs of Humvees and trailers at different points. No pics of the bike if you're wondering
Here the company was on the way to remove some Iranians from the provincial government building/governor's home.
Some Marines took to making some performance mods to their Humvees. This one has a hood scoop.
The Lt making his way up through the vehicles
More personalizing of Humvees
Some bulk fuel Marines at the Al Kut airbase waving for the camera
I never though I'd be cruising around in an LAV. This one was a mortar variant
A sniper keeping watch over a crowd
The railroad administration building for the As Samawah area
A manufacturer label inside a locomotive at the As Samawah train yard
Getting a thumbs up from the crowd. This was during a trip I took with a CI team to the outskirts of Al Kut
More of the same crowd

So, are they happy we are there doing what we're doing? Hell, yeah!
