ENDURO RULES AND STUFF

RULES side1 - 2001
RULES side2 - 2001
-These rules are for Riverhead Raceway in Riverhead, New York on Long Island.
-sorry about the green line-

-Hints and suggestions I have gotten for preparing an enduro car:

-Remove AC unit - This will lighten the car and also give back valuable power to the engine.

-Remove any unneeded equipment - This may include the Windshield washer motor, all other seats, and parts from dashboard. These do not only lighten car, but, they may be required to be removed - check you race tracks laws.

-Removing windshields - I recently read that the best way to remove a windshield is to use guitar string (or any strong wire for that matter) and sliding it around the circumferance of the window.

-Adjust Camber - A slight negative camber to the front right will give the outside wheel a little more traction. While moving around the turn there is much force to the tire pulling it from the rim, trying to fold it over. By giving the tire negative camber you are increasing the tires angle of attack, reducing the likelyhood of the tire coming off and also keeping more tread and less sidewall on the floor. However too much negative camber will result in a loss of traction, so experement.

-Remove Calaconverter - The cala converter is put in a car purly for emitions resons, and it blocks a hella HP. When I removed my cal (and AC unit) from the sundance it turned a car that was so slow it could not safly merge to a car that screached the tires when it was wholeshoted. Here is how I removed my cala converter
