How The nWo Was Started
The concept was originally started by Scott Hall, who appears on the first two-hour Nitro in May of 1996 and declared that they were taking over, although he didn’t note who “they” were the assumptions was that it was the WWF then the next week, Kevin Nash appears promising the same thing Hall and Nash The Outsiders went on attacking people for the next month or so even power bombing Eric Bischoff through a table. Finally Sting, Lex Luger, and Randy Savage challenged “The Outsiders" to a six-man tag match at Bash at the Beach. Nash and Hall accept, and said their third man was to be revealed at a later date like at the "Bash at the Beach" PPV in July. The third man was Hulk Hogan, who over time adopted the new persona of "Hollywood" Hogan. Hogan invented the phrase "New World Order" during his heel turn interview. Commentators Bobby Heenan and Larry Zbyzsko later officially named them the nWo, building on Hogan's speech, The New World Order begins attacking WCW wrestlers viciously and in Febuary of 2002 Mr. McMahon brought nWo back with the intention to destroy the Federation injecting poison into a sports-entertainment company But Hulk Hogan he decided he wanted no part of McMahon or the nWo's evil ways and on March 22, 2002 on Smackdown X-pac who has been MIA for severl months made his come back as the newist member of the nWo.

Hogan's Heel Speech from Bash at the Beach 1996

(It's the conclusion of the "Bash at the Beach 1996" Pay-Per-View and Hogan has just shocked the wrestling world by attacking Randy "Macho Man" Savage, thus revealing himself to be the third member of The Outsiders. "Mean" Gene Okerlund Okerlund enters the ring for an interview. Hogan stands beside his new allies, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, as the fans pelt the ring with debris. Tony Schiavone, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Dusty Rhodes sit by stunned at the announcer's desk).
Gene Okerlund: Hulk Hogan, what in the world are you thinking?

Hogan: Mean Gene Okerlund, the first thing that you need to do is to tell these people to shut if you wanna hear what I gotta say.

Gene Okerlund: I have beeen with you for so many years... for you to join up with the likes of these two men absolutely makes me sick to my stomache and I think that these people here and a lot of other people around the world, have had just about enough of this man, this man, (pointing to Nash and Hall) and you want to put yourself in this group? You've got to be ... kidding me!

Hogan: Well, the first thing you've got to realize, brother, is this right here is the future of wrestling (points to Nash and Hall). You can call this the New World Order of Wrestling, brother.

Gene Okerlund: "You have made the wrong decision, in my opinion!"

Hogan: Let me tell you something! when it all came to pass, the name Hulk Hogan, the man Hulk Hogan, got bigger than the whole sport! And then Billionaire Ted, Amigo, ... he wanted to "talk turkey" with Hulk Hogan. Billionaire Ted promised me movies, brother, ... Billionaire Ted promised me millions of dollars, brother, ... and Billionaire Ted promised me world calibre matches. As far as Billionaire Ted, Eric Bischoff, and the whole WCW goes, I'm bored brother! That's why these two guys here, the so-called Outsiders, ... these are the men I want as my friends. They're the new blood of professional wrestling, brother, and not only are we going to take over the whole wrestling business, with Hulk Hogan and the new blood, the monster with me, we will destroy everything in our path, Mean Gene Okerlund!

Gene Okerlund: Look at all this crap in the ring! This is what's in the future for you if you want to hang around with the likes of this man, Hall, and this man, Nash.

Hogan: As far as I'm concerned, all this crap in the ring represents the fans out here. For two years, brother, for two years, I held my head high ... I did everything for the kids ... the reception I got when I came out here ... you fans can stick it, brother, because if it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, you people wouldn't be here. If it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff would still be selling meat from a truck in Minneapolis and if it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, all these Johnny-Come-Lately's that you see out here wrestling, wouldn't be here. I was selling out the world, brother, while you were stealing gas to put in the car to get to high school, so the way that it is now, brother, with Hulk Hogan and the New World Organization of Wrestling, brother, me and the new blood by my side ... whatcha gonna do when the New World Organization runs wild on you? Whatcha gonna do????? (He grabs Gene Okerlund)

Gene Okerlund: Hey ... don't touch me!!!! I'm gonna call my lawyer ... Tony, Bobby, Dusty, ... dammit ... let's get back to you!

Changing
Out with the old in with the new that is how thw wrestling world works So Hogan is out of nWo and X-Pac is in Scott Hall is out and Big show is in Booker T seem to not know if he wants to be. On June 3rd Shawn Michaels returned to WWE and joined the nWo. The next week on RAW Michaels said that sports entertainment is a funny business. Back in his day, there were all kinds of gimmicks running around. But there was one thing that was very real: himself. He said he literally gave his body to the business. Then, at WrestleMania XIV, Vince decided to give the business attitude and put a huge promotional machine behind Stone Cold. Michaels said Austin had to problems stealing his spotlight. Michaels said that because the fans dictated the direction the company takes, it was the fans that cast him aside and embraced Austin. Michaels said he would never let the fans do that to him again. A few weeks back on Confidential, Michaels said that HBK was dead. He said that while he was kicked to the curb, one man stood behind him the whole way: Kevin Nash. The rest of the nWo came down and joined Michaels in the ring. Michaels said that Nash is one of the biggest names the industry has ever known, but more importantly, he is the leader of the most powerful faction the business has ever seen. But still, Michaels said something is missing in the nWo. He said one stands out., the 7-foot-2, 500 pound Big Show. Michaels said the nWo wouldn't be messed with when the Big Show was around. Michaels then pointed a finger at X-Pac and said that he's the most talented performer in the business. Suddenly, Michaels clocked Booker T with some Sweet Chin Music! Michaels accused Booker of trying to steal the spotlight from the nWo, just like Austin! He guaranteed that nobody would ever steal his spotlight again! The remaining members of the nWo celebrated as Booker T lay prone on the mat!
