April 10 2005 - Please make sure you PRINT your FULL NAME CLEARLY on the team sheet! Otherwise I won't know who you are and your stats will NOT be updated on the Scoring King and MVP ladders. I'm having a lot of difficulties trying to keep these statistics for you because of this.

An example is this week one team had two new players both with the same first name and no surname given. If you notice your name spelt incorrectly (quite likely) in the Scoring King ladder, please write it more clearly and/or make a note of it on your team sheet.

March 29 2005 - Unfortunately T2 has now withdrawn from the competition and we're back down to 7 teams and 3 games/week. Please check the updated schedule which reflects this change.

The team list is now:

Code Team
M1 ACCF (1)
M2 ACCF (2)
A1 Alliance (1)
A2 Alliance (2)
B Balwyn
E ECC
T1 TCCMA (1)

March 14 2005 - Welcome back to a new season of basketball! Work is currently being done on a new database which should aid the lengthy process of updating league information every week. We appreciate your patience while this work is being conducted.

In the meantime, the schedule for the first half of the season has been finalised and is in the section.

We have also just welcomed a new 8th team into the competition - T2. This means there will be no bye's every week as we can now have 4 games per week.

Oct 15 - And here we are, the last week of competition basketball for 2003! The playoff final will be played between M1 and C1 @ 7:40 and we hope as many of you as possible can come to watch what should be a very exciting game. Also please note that after the final, between 8:30 & 8:45), we will be holding the award ceremony, and again we encourage everyone to attend :-).

Oct 7 - The MCCBA committee would like to thank everyone for making this season such a great and exciting one. As you can all see from the table, the season was ended up too close to call! Congratulations to M1 for winning the league. Congratulations must also go to Joe Yeh for being the most outstanding player, winning both the Scoring King and MVP awards (with 24ppg and 53 votes respectively) !

Good luck to everyone for the playoffs!

Remainder of season fees are due after the exam break. ie 6-July-2003. Select your team in the drop-down menu above to view how much your team is owing. However, after checking university exam timetables, it appears that we will have sufficient time to run a 2 week playoff. Accordingly, we will require each team to pay extra $35 to cover expenses. Can team captains please send feedback to Simon via the email link in the "Links & Contacts" section, or tell Tony or Simon this on Sunday.
