ADRA'S FAMILY
This picture is of My brother and his wife and 2 kids. My niece Kayla (age 11), Lisa & Tim , my nephew Cody (age 15 months).
Tim & Lisa were married August 25, 2001. Tim and Lisa met a few years ago and were a perfect match. Tim & Lisa went thru alot after Cody was born. Cody was approximately 6 months old when he had to have heart surgery because he was born with a hole in his heart and they put a mesh covering over it. Cody has a scar on his chest now but it isn't very noticeable because it has turned white. Cody is a normal child and you would never know that he had surgery done.
On March 11, 2002 the happy life for Tim & Lisa came to an end. Lisa was killed in an auto accident on her way home from work. She was hit head on by a tractor and trailer. Lisa was an awesome individual. She was devoted to Tim and the kids. She treated Kayla as tho she were her own daughter. She couldn't wait to see what new thing Cody was going to do next. She was special not just to us, her family but to all those who knew her.
I think about Lisa often. I loved Lisa even tho I never told her that. I wish now that I would have because I didn't call Lisa and get together and do the things sister in laws should do. I guess I took that "I'll have tomorrow" attitude & in this case, tomorrow never came.
ADRA'S OTHER BROTHER
This is a picture of Josh and Bailee. Josh & Bailee belong to my other Brother, Tom, & his wife, Tina. I don't have a picture of Tom and Tina yet but I will post it as soon as I get it.
Tom & Tina were married August 22, 1987. Josh is 11 years old and Bailee is 5 years old. Josh and Bailee are actively involved in church and sports. Josh is currently playing Baseball. He does play football and he wrestles. Bailee is playing Soccer.
I can remember when Tom and Tina first started dating. Tina use to always give me gum or candy. Tina and I talk a good bit. I Love Tom and Tina and the kids. Again, I never say it to them & I probably should before it is too late.
MOM & DAD
This is a picture of my parents. Tom & Stella Brown. My parents have done a good job at raising us 3 kids (at least we think so).
My dad coached our ball team when we were little. My 2 brothers both played. I was batgirl my first year & then my 2nd year I got to play but.....well I got hit with the ball in the middle of the back & I quit.
When I reached high school, I decided I was going to play softball for a summer league team. My parents supported me.
My dad was always my role model. He was the "christian" leader in our house & I really admired him for that. My mom worked a full time job while raising us 3 kids while my dad also worked full time.
My parents have gone thru alot with us kids. Some of it we caused on our own and some of it was just life's circumstances but they were always there for us thru all those things. For all they have done for me, I love them both very much.
