THE INTERNET REVOLUTION
With more and more people connecting to the Internet everyday, it is small wonder that the rules of commerce and advertisement have been redefined as cyberspace offers a somewhat different interface between vendors and consumers than that of traditional TV and radio. Simply put, companies pay advertising dollars to TV networks for commercial spots, and the networks in turn pay actors ridiculous salaries so they can work about 15 hours a week, buy Rolex's, Lexus's, and any number of expensive things having the letter "x" in them. Radio advertising dollars go to the stations, and the stations pay the dollars to record companies, the electric company (for that big huge tower in the station's backyard... what did you think it was, the Eiffel Tower?), and in rare instances, YOU! IF, you are the seventh caller and your cell phone doesn't act up on you and you manage to get through past the millions of frenzied, speed-dialing souls who should be concentrating on driving.
The internet is a bit different. Advertisers pay website administers (webmasters) to display banners and "internet commercials", but who do the webmasters pay? In more and more instances, the answer to that question has become: THE INTERNET SURFER! Why? Simple! Let's face it... even the BEST websites have NO comparison to watching the millionth episode of (insert the name of your favorite show here) for the millionth time. In order to obtain more traffic for sites, webmasters need to offer a little more incentive for visiting surfers. Otherwise, sooner or later website traffic will dwindle. No traffic equals unhappy advertiser which equals no more money to the webmaster which equals unhappy webmaster. BUT, if the webmaster offers the surfer a cut of advertising revenue, the surfer WILL come back and bring friends in many cases. This means more traffic for the webmaster's site which means the advertiser continues to advertise on the webmaster's site, and EVERYONE is happy. In fact, many websites offering monetary compensation have found a way to implement a referral plan, making it even MORE lucrative for the enterprising internet surfer.
Suzanne and I have found quite a few sites that offer monetary compensation for everything from visiting websites to listening to streaming Internet radio. All the sites we have found have also implemented lucrative referral plans, but before you quit your job and make a dreadful mistake, we feel compelled to inform you:- Suzanne and I are NOT multi-millionaires
- Suzanne and I still work full time jobs
- Suzanne and I don't own any of those expensive "x" things I talked about
We have simply found a way to SUPPLEMENT our income. Key word: SUPPLEMENT. Not REPLACE, not QUADRUPLE, not even TRIPLE. If you are here with ambitions to become the next Bill Gates, you may want to look elsewhere (but when you make your billions, please remember our part in your success in that we didn't let you waste a SECOND of your time here... that should be worth at LEAST ten grand, right?). BUT, if you are a college student, a stay at home mom (kudos to you... you are doing an admirable thing), or just want to make a little more cash, you will CERTAINLY want to take advantage of the following sites:
This site is the absolute BOMB! You are "assigned" to check out different websites and in some cases, register on a website's mailing list. You then get PAID anywhere from $1 to $5 just for doing so! Heck, they give you ten bucks just to sign UP! Click on this banner for all the details...
If you can't make it on "Who wants to be a millionaire", this is the next best thing. Payouts for each quiz are VERY small (a few cents), but with a decent referral network this can become quite lucrative...
