Role Play Background:
Randy Orton has been proving to be impressive already in the HWE. As he steps into the ring with the one and only Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stone Cold was his tag team partner the week prior and Randy made it very clear that he didn't need Austin, and that he doesn't like him in the slightest. This week the two men square off to see which of them will be considered the better man. The supposed legend, or the legend killer and hottest superstar to hit wrestling...ever!
*The camera is in the parking lot of the arena. The lights inside give off an orangish glow as a black limo starts pulling in. It stops right next to the doors entering into the arena as the driver in a black suit and black hat gets out and walks around to the side. He opens the door and out steps Randy Orton. Orton dressed in black slacks and a white button up t-shirt, with the top few buttons left undone steps out. With a cocky grin on his face he looks around, but instead of walking inside he just sets his black duffle bag down and looks at the camera.*
Randy Orton: Ah, I would like to say it feels great to be Randy Orton, not only am I Randy Orton, not only am I but just twenty four years old I am hands down one of the greatest athletes the HWE has ever, or will ever see walk through their doors. They have people like Stone Cold Steve Austin, amongst many of their washed up has beens, supposed legends that stand in my way. You know I'm sitting at home eating dinner and I hear Stone Cold Steve Austin on the television talking about Charlie Haas and the smoking skull championship. Steve, who cares about Haas or your championship. It's not the same as if I had a championship around my waist. There's a big difference there, it would mean something if it were Randy Orton, but you are Steve Austin, that's no big deal. You know Austin when I said I didn't need you, I really meant it. You should feel special that I even decided to grace the same ring as you Steve. You are on such a lower level. You can go ahead and drop a Stone Cold Stunner if it would make you feel better. I'd probably laugh it off, because believe me when I say this. It's no RKO! As far as HWE material goes, they already dubbed me a legend killer here too, it's all I hear about and Steve doesn't think I could kill him off? Steve do you realize who you are talking to? Do you know who you are? You are not anything I would sleep more than ten hours worrying about. Steve, I am more than you could ever dream of. Don't be jealous of me, because Steve when I listened to you talking, I felt like you were getting pretty jealous of me, because you admitted that I'm younger, and that I am quite talented. That's all very true Steve, but I don't need ten years to prove my greatness. Why not just prove it right now? You even out right admitted that I have a great toned, muscular body. All of the ladies definately have a thing for Randy Orton. Basically I am everything you aren't. So let's give the world something they haven't had in a long time. A real talented athlete as a champion. Steve your time is up, it's been up, they've just been keeping you around because they've been waiting for the arrival of someone with my greatness. I'm glad that you think so highly of your Stunner Steve, because you need something to keep your head held high when you know for a fact that you are about to walk in to a total @$$ kicking by the one and only Randy Orton. Steve, just prepare yourself for when the lights go out after the RKO! Now if you'll excuse me, I have much more important things to do right now than to waste more breath on Stone Cold Steve Austin.
*Randy Orton keeps that smile across his face as he grabs his bag and starts heading for the doors entering into the arena.*
*"Evolution" starts playing as Randy Orton comes out from behind the curtain. Still in his black slacks and his white button up shirt from earlier with the top few buttons still undone. He stops at the top of the ramp with his usual grin and looks around the arena.*
Jim Ross: Well King, to some this may be a treat, to most an unpleasant surprise, but we have Randy Orton coming out here to join us.
The King: Unpleasant surprise indeed JR, this is something for the ladies to look at, what we need are some ladies for The King to look at.
Jim Ross: Oh stop it already you.
*Randy Orton struts down the ramp. When he reaches the bottom he walks to the corner of the ring and goes up the steps onto the ring apron. Throughout the arena mixed in with the theme music playing you hear a roar of boos, but a few cheers which seem to be eminating mostly from the female members of the crowd. Randy slowly steps through the ropes and jumps up onto the middle turnbuckle in the corner. He puts his arms out to the side posing, then steps back down and is handed a microphone from a member of the ring crew. He steps into the center of the ring as the theme dies down, the fans do also. He brings the microphone up to his mouth and begins to talk.*
Randy Orton: Steve, Steve, Steve, I came out here so I could kind of have a rebuttal against what you had to say about me. I mean you talk as if you really know me. Why would I want to come out here and call you an alcoholic, beer drinking @$$hole? You said it yourself, and you made it sound as if it's true, so for me to say it would be a complete waste of my time. Then again anything that has to do with you really is a complete waste of time. It's bad enough that I have to waste the energy of going through a match with you. I'd be surprised if you even knew what fighting was. You're more worried about chugging down another steveweiser as quick as you can rather than hitting the gym every once in a while to keep yourself in shape. Steve, I'm sorry to say this and disappoint you, but no, feeling a stunner is not going to make me feel special. You know when I'm listening to you, I wonder just how much all of that beer drinking has effected you, I mean you come out here and you repeat yourself time and time again. How many times do we have to hear about the stunner? Like I've said, it's not the RKO so get over it, it has nothing. I will also never regret talking about you Steve. After all, you make thing so easy for me to talk about. I could ramble on all day long about how horrible of a wrestler you are, amongst other things. Above all of that, maybe I should spit in your face, because that is the biggest possible sign of disrespect one man can give. You don't deserve any respect Steve. I sure as hell don't respect you. And you know, it's really funny that you consider yourself one of the best in the business. I already know what it's like to be in the ring with the greatest this business have to offer. How do I know? Because everytime I step into the ring I am there, what more needs to be said? Basically what I want to tell you Austin is go ahead and have another beer. I don't need energy drinks or anything like that. I just need myself, that's all anyone needs, a little Randy Orton. Count your time down Steve, because it's almost time for me to beat your @$$ and teach you what a legend you aren't.
*Randy Orton drops the microphone down to the mat. His theme song picks back up as he jumps back onto the middle turnbuckle. He puts his arms up into the air above his head grabbing his left hand with his right one. Flashes are going off across the arena while the sound of boos starts to flood the arena once more. Randy Orton steps out of the ring through the ropes and hops down onto the floor below. He walks back up the rampway with an arrogant strut and smile before disappearing behind the curtain. His theme song died out shortly after.*
*Randy Orton is stepping out of his locker room. Dressed in his blue tights and wrestling boots with taped wrists he is stopped in the hall way by the one and only Coach.*
The Coach: Randy Orton, I was hoping that maybe I could speak to you for a moment.
Randy Orton: Yes Coach, but you are only getting a minute of Randy Orton's time, because I'm quite busy, and getting ready for my match.
The Coach: It appears Stone Cold is pretty certain that he will defeat you when the two of you square off in the ring.....
Randy Orton: Whoa, let me stop you right there. Do you realize that you are talking to Randy Orton? You think I'd be worried that Stone Cold is sure he'd beat me? Let him try and fail miserably. He's probably also sure there will be hell raising and fighting. He's a redneck fool Coach, and he doesn't stand a chance going up against a legend killer like myself. Coach, Steve needs his confidence in himself, the guy has absolutely nothing else going for him.
The Coach: You know I spoke with him earlier, and he had a few things to say about you.
Randy Orton: A few things is absolutely right. I forced myself to have to listen to all of that, and all I heard was what what what. I don't know if the guy is just hard of hearing now or what? Either he is or the fans are, because they keep chanting it. Bunch of morons in need of a hearing aid I tell you.
The Coach: I'm curious as to what you think you can gain out of defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin?
Randy Orton: What I can gain? How about another name to the list of legends I've put away. It's a small list right now, but he's just one of many to come, and before long he won't have a choice but to step away from the prime time championship contention all together. And afterwards the HWE will put that primetime championship on the line with me in the match, and you can d@mn well guarantee when it happens, this legend killer will be the Prime Time Champion! Thank you Coach, now if you'll be on your way.
*Randy Orton pushes The Coach getting him to leave the area. Randy Orton just looks into the camera with his arrogant smile and gives it a nod as he then walks by it and starts to finish his journey down the hallway. When Coach is out of sight Randy Orton yells for the camera. It turns around and sees he didn't go too far down the hallway. He signals for the camera man to come closer and he does. He puts Randy right in the center of the shot.*
Randy Orton: It's a good thing we got rid of him, because he annoys the hell out of me. Now, before I head out there to prepare for my match I have a few last things for Stone Cold Steve Austin. Listen closely Steve, I know you are somewhere and I know you are listening to me. Your time of being such a high name in this federation is about over. You don't give me enough credit, but in return I give you no credit. You don't deserve it, you haven't earned any credit from Randy Orton. I am in fact the more talented athlete. I have more wrestling skill then any person in this federation and I'm out to prove that I am the number one guy. There's too many of you washed up has beens that don't believe that I can do it, and it's time for a change. It's time for an evolution of the HWE members. I am the beginning of this Evolution as I am the young man who's going to put you old has beens away so that we can fill this federation with more talent than supposed big names. There's no room for some guy you likes to drink beer and fight around here. If that's all you spend your life doing, then you are no different than the next guy Steve. You come a dime a dozen. I could go to the local bar around here and pick out ten low lifes much like yourself. Drunk and unable to wait to get into a fight with someone. Steve, sometimes you act almost as if you are an intimidating force around here, but I'd like to quickly remind you that you are nothing. You may have been the primetime champion, but that doesn't mean anything believe me, because anytime you have Randy Orton coming for you, it will be no time before he gets you. I keep telling people that I am the best, so I'm going to have to put my money where my mouth is and prove it. The question I guess is this Steve, can you really stop me? Do you really think you have what it takes? Your body has been around the block a number of times. You have a lot of miles on you Steve, and that works against you. You are a broken man, a mere shell of what you once were. I'm fresh out of the starting blocks, I have plenty of miles left on my Steve. I have a long way to go before I'm worn down. Let's see how well you match up with my strength. Pound for pound, fist for fist, I'd love to beat you at your own game. I already know that I'm capable of it. Then again you would have to try and match my speed and agility. Steve, we both know, and you could not deny that I have more speed and agility than you. You weren't this good when you were in your prime. I have endurance that is through the roof. Five minutes into the match I could probably have you huffing and puffing as you scramble around trying to keep up with me, and best of all...look at that beer gut you have on you Steve. It's very obvious to the naked eye that you have let yourself go. You don't care about yourself, so how in the world could you care about your championship, or this business. Everything starts with you, I mean look at me.
*The camera pans out and checks over Randy Orton then goes back to him.*
Randy Orton: I am simply amazing Steve. I know how to take care of myself, I don't lack the self discipline it takes to work hard at a body like this everyday. With my endurance that I've built from this, I could wrestle with you for an hour and a half and I might break a sweat...maybe. You know most guys only dream that the could be what I have made myself. You just wait until retribution, because this isn't just showing you how great I am Steve, it's about showing the world that Randy Orton is here and that Randy Orton will not stop until he is sitting on top of this business. I deserve it Steve. I'm only twenty four years old, I have so much ahead of me. I'm going to break down barriers, plow through walls, kill legends left and right. No one saw me coming. No one saw the best of the best just showing up in the HWE and starting to prove what I am fully capable of, but that's just fine. Everyone will take notice now, and you are just one of the first Steve. I've heard a few predictions, it seems you still have one or two drinking buddies out there who think you can beat me, but it was only weeks ago when no one was betting on Randy Orton. Now there's a few people looking for Randy, because Randy Orton is the next big name in this business and the time is now! Steve, this is the beginning of the evolution of this business. The very evolution I was talking about. You are Stone Cold Steve Austin, the supposed legend, and I am Randy Orton, the real deal legend killer. Times up Steve, I'll see you in the ring. Tell me how the view of the lights are when I pin you for the ...1...2...3!
*Randy Orton holds his hand up counting the one, two, three on his hand. He grins as the camera fades out to black. Randy Orton finally walks down the hallway prepping for his match and gets out of sight.*
