Role Play Background: Last week The Badd Boy on Shockwave let another rookie know that he has a long way to go before he has the right to start getting over confident with their abilities and start making challenges. It's been a while coming, but Primetime Dan Massoud and The Badd Boy have been working on building their recent alliance. This week they finally get to put their training to the test as the two take on the Wasabi World Order Phalanx. AKA Wasabi and Raptor for the tag team championships. Both teams hope to bring a little life to the division that has been just about dead. Wasabi and Badd Boy are enemies of old, and Badd Boy gained the Intercontinental Championship he now holds from Wasabi, along with the classic Raptor and Primetime feuds there is no love less between these two teams. This Saturday on Shockwave it is just one more showing to see who can stick it out the best between the two as the recently returning Wasabi and Raptor go toe to toe with Primetime and The Badd Boy.
*A camera is focused on The Badd Boy as he walks through a small part of the dusty town not touched by buildings, just open sand dune and cactus are around. He is thinking about the match. He looks into the camera.*
The Badd Boy: Wasabi, so we meet yet again. Shall we continue our small legacy of fights? We've only had four, and three of those were one on one. May I remind you that those three all racked up chalk on my side of the board. So Sushi sauce, what is it this time? How boring you think I am? How I put you and your friends to sleep? Or are we going to try and be original for once? Though I have enjoyed our past encounters, a couple of hardcore go abouts, and it was nice gaining this Intercontinental Championship. It's always good to go into a match with someone whom you have had to face before, because you know them, then you have to try to outsmart them by changing your game plan and hope whatever you change it to still works in being able to defeat them. That works for me, I am always up for a real challenge. Not to mention, I think you and the wWo has held those rarely defended tag team championships a little too long for comfort. Wasabi, you may laugh at how I like to live my life or how I prefer to speak on camera, but at least when I get on there I am being real. Honostly people can only get so much of your same lame old and tired jokes. It's time to retire some of them and get yourself some originality. Maybe a side of personality with that would help you too, but then again you just seem to be a lost cause can anything really help you now that you are this far gone and lost? I hope you enjoyed your little vacation that you took, sorry I can't say that I missed you. How could I miss you getting on the camera or your Sony Handicam and regurgitating your old jokes and then laughing hysterically at yourself thinking that you are pleasing the fans. Clown College would be about your best bet, you've already got the hair and the shoe size for it. In the wrestling ring we leave all of the laughing at home, because that is not a time to play around and maybe that is your downfall. This is when reality starts to set in, and you must realize that your laughter compares nothing with having Raw talent. Sometimes I think you substitute slapstick comedy with skills, and I am sorry to say, but that is not a good way to keep yourself on top of this business. I actually think that I laughed my final laugh with you, and thus I just won't put up with it anymore. If your well was any dryer you would just turn into dust. I recall the day that you decide that no longer were you going to be serious, rather you decided to take that leap into being something different, everyone could have sworn and would still swear to this day that you were just decided to take acid. Anyways, Sushi Sauce, as I was getting at you hold one half of the tag team championships. I haven't been able to decifer if you are supposed to be holding it or if Def Metal the traitor is supposed to be, but I will go off of what the card says. If it is you I have to beat then oh well, because a long time ago you lead the revolt that cost me what I stood for, I am sure you recall the BWO. I am also sure that you are proud of your accomplishment, so don't think that, that sore doesn't still lie deep down inside me. I could beat you a hundred times and still never be satisfied with my work, because though I don't hate you as much as I do Jarred or Franchize, well frankly I can't say that I hate you, but I do despise you, and everything you have done. You are just another one of the many opponents out there, that I have had to face and go through. The one time you were able to one up me was when it came down to you and Raptor two on one with me, but with my partner that won't come into play so easily. This time around I am not leaving you any open opportunities, and in no way will I make things any easier on you than what they should be. I want your matches with me to be the toughest you ever have, because I want you to think about who you are fighting. When you go running your mouth about how much you find me to be dull, I hope in the back of your head you think about the times that I have beat you and you use those in determining how you act about. Then, maybe then you won't find things so funny. I hear it now, and you are wrong this is not going to be a Wasabi day, this is going to be a Badd day. Don't laugh at the truth when you are out could little sauce.
*The Badd Boy bends down to see a little scorpion crawling in the sand. He stays just far enough away from it to only watch it crawl across the ground. It stops. Notices the foot and turns around going the other direction.*
The Badd Boy: Raptor, I am far from forgetting about you either. I can't say that we have had a lot of battles, or really seen each other in the ring other than when we were in the stable versus stable match. So how is your kid doing? It could be just me, but I doubt it, but I think that it is pretty sad that you have your own child wrestling with you in the industry. Well at least he is not as bad as that old Phantom that used to be around here, now that was sad. Anyways, getting off track a little bit, me and you in this match up. The only thing I remember from you is fighting you when it was just me taking you and Wasabi at the same time. Don't get me wrong, though I don't always talk about it, I can not deny that the two of you are tough competitors and anytime you take on two at the same time it becomes that much harder. At least I am not alone this time, and on this occassion I think my team of two has a lot more in it than your team of two does. Anyways we will get to how the teams work out a little bit later, what I really want to focus on is me and you. What I want to challenge about you tonight is your heart, do you really have the heart needed for this business to keep going? Sure you have had a lot of great battles, but for some reason you haven't been able to stay on the top for very long, and I find that suspicious, because any man with the right heart knows how to stay at the top when they get there. How about you? Raptor, you need to be able to reach deep down inside and find the place where you can become almost invincible. You showed signs when you were battling Def Metal on the occassions that you have, but in my eyes I don't feel as if you are at the level you need to be. You are also a follower, Dino Boy, this is not a game of follow the leader. You have been letting Wasabi set the pace for you while you just kind of follow what he does, when he jokes you joke ect. Like the sand here in San Antonio you are just as dry as a bone, and as long as you keep following Wasabi's lead into the deep pit of boring recycled jokes, then the joke will be on you. Maybe that's what I should consider myself, the ending punch line for your never ending jokes that noone can stand any longer. Raptor, I am ready to put you and your humor to rest, because you like Wasabi hold one half of what I want to obtain, the tag team championships. To do so I must find a way to put you down, because there is no way I am going to just roll over or just lie down and take it. I have been waiting for this chance for quite some time, because honostly my past two tag matches haven't been too great. I have been forced twice to tag with Justin Franchize, the first time he whacked me from behind, the second time I turned him around and put him down, because I just can't deal well with losers. He being one of the biggest of them all. Raptor this is my time to turn things around a bit, so that I can build up on the tag team division and give you a dose of what real competition is like, much more than Jarred and Steelhart have. Much like Wasabi, I assume you will fall in line, so let me cut you off before you can, I am not just too Raptor, I am just too badd, much badder than you think. That's not just some catch phrase for you to mock, no that is a statement that stands for what lies inside of me, the heart of a real champion, and the will to strive and do my best under any condition. I have been looking forward to this match with you and Wasabi, because this is a bit of competition, and it does feel great to pull a victory over competition much more so then the recent rookies I have had to deal with. Those are behind me, and now you are ahead of me. I haven't had many people be able to put me to the test like I am hoping you will be able to in our match, because without guys like you keeping my skills sharp and keeping me on my toes then I would turn into you and just slowly becoming a faded joke of the EMF. It won't be long before right inside that ring we get to fight, and what a battle it will be. Then I will be wrapping your arms up behind your head and slinging you backwards coming close to snapping your neck with the Full Nelson Suplex, then Dino Boy, you will understand what it means to be me and be Just Too Badd!
*Scene Fades Out.*
*The Badd Boy was in the place he typically meets with DGNR8, but he was nowhere to be found, so teh Badd Boy asked the camera man to go ahead and turn it on and he would get started.*
The Badd Boy: Now is the time for Primetime and I to really showcase our talents as for the first time since our alliance we team up to take on the wWo Phalanx. This will undoubtedly be a true test of our abilities. Primetime, I know you are out there somewhere so I just hope you are listening. I just want to tell you that I think you are a great superstar I have been watching you ever since I joined up here in the EMF and you have always done great. I trust you as a partner, and I can only hope that the two of us together can dominate over the tag team division. I know you can't wait to get a hold of Raptor once again, and Wasabi is in the mix one of my more common nemesis'. Soon it will be our time to shine. I would say that when we get into the ring it is a BaddTime for everyone else that has to go up against us, so Phalanx, I hope that you aren't so busy laughing that you are taking us seriously. The tag team division is a world in which is much different than the realm of singles competition. Sure the two of you haven't done to bad, but Primey and I we will show you how to do it really badd. Because there is no time like the badd times. This is a chance to catapault us way up into the rankings of the tag team division and to become champions. After all only true champions should be able to hold the honor of being champions in the first place, that is why the two of us must make the two of you lose your belts ASAP! I have had my eye on my half of the tag division gold for a while now and I was just waiting the right time to do it. Well, I guess this Shockwave would be a better time than any, and this will be the time for Primetime and I to enhance our abilities as we step onto a surface kind of new to us too. Primetime is a former tag champion, but that has never been his focus. So now we must do our best, and show you two up if at all possible, and not only do I think it is possible, but very probably that it will happen right here this Saturday. The question is have the two of you really prepared yourselves? It has been a while since the two of you have had to do much, Raptor did a match recently with Def, but not much else, and Wasabi you had a bit of a Christmas vacation. So is ring rust going to be affecting the two of you? Primetime and I are rearing and ready to go. I am just hopping at this opportunity. This is just one step to getting closer to the status my partner has already obtained and that is to be a Hall of Famer. You two may get there, but I am going to do my best to secure my very spot in that area of only the best of the best. That has been a little bit of a dream of mine, and I just don't think I can let the two of you be able to stop me from acheiving my goals. You will find out that I am just not as boring as you always make me out to be, and when we go toe to toe you will find I am much more of a competitor than what you give me credit for. Why do you take the two of us so lightly anyway? As if it will always be a cake walk for the two of you, you know for a fact that isn't true. What is true though is that no dynasty lasts forever and I think you guys are standing on your last legs, and before long you will just be faded memories. Who knows maybe it will be the work of Primey and I to make you the memories, to turn you into just shells of your former selves. That would be a nice little accomplishment and trust me it would spare the fans so much boredom. Sure jokes are funny, the first time around I mean geeze, you are about as funny as Adam Sandler's 5th song about those eight crazy nights for the Jewish Holiday. You can only stand so much then you just have to give it up really boys. Oh well I guess you just have to resort to what you have, because unlike Primetime and I you can't always resort to your skill levels or levels of competance, or intelligence. My goal in our match up is to be able to outsmart you guys, always stay one step ahead of where you think I am. That way you will always be guessing, and I know for a fact that once I get questions raising in your head that you will be unsure what to do and before you even realize it one of you will have your shoulders pinned to the mat and there will be an announcement for the new heavyweight tag team champions of the world. The name following those will be none other than Primetime Dan Massoud and The Badd Boy Tony Ikeda. Must be embarrassing for the two of you because you are so set out to never lose to us, but what can you really do when we don't even give you the choice? Won't be long and we will be seeing you, and you will be seeing the lights!
*DGNR8 dressed up in a dinosaur costume.*
DGNR8: You started with out me? You cheater.
The Badd Boy: Sorry.
DGNR8: Anyways...so Badd Boy, how do you think you and Primetime will be able to do in the Tag Team Division?
The Badd Boy: Well we have both been very strong competitors in the singles division, and we know that neither of us can combat everyone alone so now we have joined our forces so that we can do our absolute best knowing we can watch each other's backs. As far as the Tag Team division goes, I feel as long as we don't slack any and we still give everything we have inside of us, then I actually kind of feel as if we are almost undefeatable. Ever since I have joined over here I have seen how great Primetime has been and how for a period of time he basically carried the EMF on his back, and he has watched me work my way up to the status I have been. I really expect us to excell in this division especially once we get the gold.
DGNR8: Speaking of the gold, how much do those championships mean to you?
The Badd Boy: Quite a bit really. Sure Primetime has his eyes set on getting back his world championship, and my focus is my Intercontinental Championship, but the Tag Team division is like a whole other world. I feel as if the belts have just been pushed off to the side almost as if they mean nothing, but we can change that, one by adding competition to the playing field, and once we gain the championships into our hands then from there we can bring prestige to the belts. It is not often that competitors of our stature get into the division on that level, and we both want to hold that piece of the EMF in our hands, so I hope to speak for Primetime a little on this, but those Championships mean a lot to the both of us thus we are driven to acquire them.
DGNR8: As far as parternships in the tag team division you have always decreed to your partners for them to do their thing and you would do yours, and given no trust, how is this any different?
The Badd Boy: Well, I think it was the realization that there are a lot of groups forming around here and the both of us have just kind of been loners so to save ourselves we partnered. So there really wasn't a choice of you do your job and I will do mine, because we have to be able to trust each other during these encounters, and once we build that trust up even further things will just flow much smoother. As I was saying this will be our big chance to break out and really shine, because the EMF is getting tough for people who didn't immediately associate with one group or another so for Primetime and I we just have to do our best and set the example for what a top of the line tag team should really be and what it takes to stay on the top.
DGNR8: Wasabi and Raptor, too opponents to be taken in a light manor, but not to be taken lightly. How do you feel?
The Badd Boy: You are correct, they do make many jokes, thus everything they do they must be taken in a light manor, but as far as not being taken lightly they are two of our tougher competitors in the EMF so Primetime and I really must be pretty carefull as far as what we do. I do feel as though we have what it takes to overcome our opponents though. If we didn't have what it takes then we wouldn't be where we are now, because in singles competition we have defeated these very same foes, and so combining our forces should just double those chances of us winning, and really blot out any possibilities of Dino Sauce and Sushi boy....wait revearse that, Sushi sauce and Dino boy of being able to win. This is no laughing matter.
DGNR8: That's great really it is, but do you feel this is a long term thing?
The Badd Boy: I really hope that it will be a long term event, because I think this is a boost in both of our careers. The team is great, and we have the abilities to go very far. Of course the world was shocked when Primetime became a face guy again, realizing that with his back to the fans it was only going to hurt him, so he has had to change himself and his style a little bit, and it is a plus for his career, not to mention Iam always trying to improve. As long as the team sticks together then we should be able to last for at least a good while and put a reign over the EMF like none has ever seen before. Much better than the nWo version five, or the wWo. I have the Intercontinental, he will be regaining the world championship, so with the tag team gold in hand, people won't have a choice but to understand that we are in control.
DGNR8: Final words?
The Badd Boy: Yeah, Raptor, Wasabi, your time is up. No more will you be spreading your little reign of laughing gas humor, rather you will be put to the ultimate test on how great you think you are. This will test your mental and physical abilities, because you can only admit that the two of us are two of the toughest opponents you have ever gone up against and that is our goal to be the biggest and baddest around, because this isn't happy hour in the EMF. We aren't invading and taking over, but we are restoring order to the EMF as it should be, and one of the goals is to take you out of the position that you are in. We are stopping at nothing to become the Tag Team Champions. To sum it all up, you two and the rest of the EMF are in for one Badd Time!
*The Badd Boy walks off as Raptor DGNR8 snarls at the camera then for no apparent reason runs into the wall for a very bad attempt at humor. The camera is turned off.*
