My Schedule:

My schedule is pretty sweet, I only have class on Wednesday and Thursday. Sometimes I go to campus on other days to update this site, and even some days to work on dreaded assessments.

My Classes:

Cyber Studies - 1801 Art

This course introduces students to the range and variety of new media programs and to the technologies, genres, media and personnel involved. In doing so CyberStudies develops a cultural and aesthetic critique of multimedia and examines key narrative strategies and concepts. Assessment is based on a creative folio of work and a theoretical understanding of the new medium.

Digital Production Methods - 3805 Art

This course will develop advanced production skills in the context of current and emerging technologies and software. Students will learn to create digital media, intergrate and manage a variety of media and develop speicalist skills with the relevant software. Assessment will be based on the development of a digital portfolio of work, and the detailed documentation of their experimentation in a journal.

Philosophy of Ethics - 3604 Art

This subject examines some of the main philosophical works or discourses on ethics and the vital role they play both in human associations and philosophical perspectives. It enquires into diverse understandings and theoretical engagements with `the ethical': ethics and `practical philosophy'; universalistic ethics; ethics and discourse, ethics after feminism; and deconstructionist ethics. Assessment is by a major essay (3000 words), an examination, and a seminar participation & contribution.

Human Computer Interaction - 3008 Int

The Human Computer Interface (HCI) area is concerned with the design of interactive computer systems. The subject takes a multidisciplinary approach to interface design, drawing on psychological and software engineering aspects of human computer interaction and is intended for the computing practitioner, requiring skills in designing and building computer interfaces, within the context of commercial software development. Assessment includes a project and a final examination.
