This is a Honda Del Sol, production began in 1992 and, sadly, ended in 1997. This Del Sol has been modifyed by MOMO, a high quality after market company, and Polk Audio, a high quality sound company. The Del Sol has became popular name in 'Import Racers' and it has a good reason, light, and small. The Del Sol has a removeable Targa Top that fits in the trunk. One model that people looking for performance try to get is the Del Sol SiR. The SiR has a B18 Honda motor in it with around 200 bhp. In Europe the Del Sol is called the CRX which we recall as the late 'Fast-back' Honda car that held its poularity for a long time and still has it. P.S. put a B18 in a Del Sol and see what happens! Sorry for the lack of information, I'll have some more soon!
Civic
The Civic has been one of Honda's best sellers since it was put into production. It has had the biggest impact on 'Import Racers' ever, much more than any other car will probably ever have on the import scene! One thing that many people are mistaken about is the whole VTEC thing, all present day and the last generation Civics have the VTEC in them. All VTEC is, is the Variable Valve Timing System, the difference between say a Civic EX and an Si is that the Si has a Double Overhead Cams and an EX has a Single Overhead Camshaft. Many people looking into buying a Civic for racing it are starting to back away because so many people now have them, but they are already going as normal. The Civic body-style many people choose was introduced in 1995 and went until 2000, when the new 2001 body-style was introduced. This is the body-style I like the best, the 1992-1994 is also a good choice in Civics. Japan and Canada have much more of an opportunity to have good racer by being alowed to have the Civic typeR and the SiR. Look at the end of this page for more pictures.
Accord
I don't really know much about the Acoord so bare with me I'm just going off of what I know. The Accord is a great family car and a racer, there are many good looking body packages for the Accord (many more for the Civic though). This is a good car for a young person to buy, for insurance reasons, I ,personnaly, havent seen many modifyed Accords crusing around. Accords tipically run off of Hondas V6 motor, and produce around 170 bhp, I may be wrong though because I don't know much about them.
Integra
This is that Japanese version of the Integra Type-R, the U.S. version has the regular american head lights and the steering is in the left side. Like the Civic the Jap version is much cooler in ways that people might not agree with me so I wont even say what they are. The Integra is a sudstitute for people who don't want a Civic for three reasons, everyone and their brother has a Civic, the looks of the Integra and, lastely, the Integras power.
NSX
In 1991 a legend was born, a Honda motor Company super car with a V6 engine the sat just as low, rode just as bad and smoked everything else below itself just like every other super-car in its class. In 1991 the Acura NSX was put into production and beat the crap out of every other V6 ever made on this planet (excluding the Jaguar XJ220). You can see for your self why.
I have much more info on Honda and Acura, it will be on here soon!-Brad
