Here is a little history as to why I refer to myself as the Nugget, and why I used to refer to myself as my hardcore alias, Blaze. One of my backyard wrestling personas was a hardcore extreme wrestler known formerly as the Corporate Gold Nugget. This was because I was in the Corporation in old DEW with Mike "the Mounty" Green and Ozzy Mac. I played out the Blue Blazer angle in the old school DEW (Depew Extreme Wrestling), and when I unmasked as the Blue Blazer, the Gold Nugget was underneath. However, when the new DEW (Dynasty Extreme Wrestling) emerged not long ago, after the old DEW fell apart for roughly 4 years, Blaze emerged, claiming not to be the Nugget. I was actually both characters, but the way that we played it off was as though no-one in the league really knew if both the Nugget and Blaze truly were the same person. Recently, I came out to my old school music, (AC/DC's Back in Black), and revealed that I was the artist formerly known as Blaze, and that my wrestling career as a hardcore legend had come to an end. This was after I sustained a career ending leg injury, and the medical staff would not give me clearance to come back.

The second reason of selecting the name "Blaze" is metaphorically. Well, "Blaze" gives a feeling of mystery and a kind of allure. "A blaze of what?" one must ask him or herself. "A blaze of glory, or of flames?" No-one is able to resist that which is not certain. And for that which is uncertain, everyone that has a brain seeks to know the truth of reality. That's why I chose the name.

"Slick Rick" The Corporate Gold Nugget

Here's a little info about me:

• I am a senior at Buffalo State College with a GPA of 3.3
• I've found a better job than working at my past job, Tops. Instead of Tops, I'm off to the banking world @ M&T.
• As you can see from the background, I am a big Sabres fan, although they keep trading away their good players. Darcy and Lindy, you guys are freaking idiots.
• My favorite number is 36, after my favorite hockey player of all time, Matthew Barnaby.
• I was a backyard wrestler in three different leagues, Depew Extreme Wrestling (old DEW), Dynasty Extreme Wrestling (new DEW), and Fierce Championship Wrestling (FCW).
• A career ending injury sidelined me to hosting my own talk show (The House of Pain), and doing color commentary with Timber the Lumberjack (formerly known as Good Ol' JR).
• I am the artist formerly known as Blaze. In old DEW, I was the Blue Blazer, in new DEW and FCW, I was Blaze. Now I'm Slick Rick, the Gold Nugget.
• I was a big wrestling fan, and Owen Hart (The Blue Blazer) was my favorite wrestler. God rest his soul.
• Oh yeah, and for all of you single ladies out there, sadly, I am taken, by the two leading ladies in my life, my wife, Kathy, and my daughter.
