My dearest student, this week teacher give u Tutorial 3, and we start from this page first, that is Tutorial 3a.
This page teaches you some tag styles that you will come across as being useful as decoration. As usual, you have to closely compare it with the coding, attached together with my email. OK, let begin~! ;)
This is the "marquee" tag, which makes the wordings slide from left to right, or right to left.
Look at this simple example of marquee tag.
This is the "marquee" tag, with the font tag.
This is the "marquee" tag, with the width u want it to scroll. This determines the width of the wordings it'll start and end.
This is the "marquee" tag, with the width and direction the wordings will slide from. If direction 'left', then it will slide from right to left. If direction 'right', it's the otherwise.
This is the "marquee" tag, with the width, direction the wordings, and the speed that it will slide. Sometimes, the speed will varies according to the PC. So it's best for you to try out with a speed, like for example 500, then increase or decrease it according to your preference.
Tips on using marquee tag:
1) The wordings will take sometime to scroll from one end to another, so if speed is fast, it would be better to repeat the same wordings twice or thrice so that viewers will not miss anything.
2) Try not to use italic letters for marquee tag. Coz when the text is moving and the wording are slanted, it makes viewers' eyes uncomfortable.
3) It is not advisable to put more than one row of marquee sentence together. To many moving sentences makes the eyes sore. Also, limit yourself to at most 2 marquee sentences in a page. One would be just nice.
4) Sometimes, a marquee tag before or after an image/pic will be nice. ;)
5) Marquee wordings should be used as a supporting text or decoration only, not as a way to write things on a page.
OK, that's all for first part of Tutorial 3~!!! We move on to 3b.
I love you dear~!!! :*
