The North Hollywood Library Teen Council consists of young adults from local Junior High and High Schools.
They are 12 to 18 years old.

As a Teen Council member, one can

  • Attend Monthly meeting.
  • Promote Teen Literacy.
  • Serve as a teen representative at community meetings
  • Serve on the Teen Advisory Board - Provide suggestions and recommendations on Young Adult Materials to the Young Adult Librarian.
  • Volunteer at the Library and earn community service credits
  • Meet other teens in the area.
  • Become a writer for the Teen Council Newsletter
