Another trip into the Aster Lake region. The approach took around 5 hours with overnight packs. We left the trailhead at 4:15PM arriving at Aster Lake right before sunset. We quickly set up camp, cooked supper then crawled into our tents. The awoke at 7:00 the next morning and made an ascent of Warrior Mtn. With most of the elevation gained from Aster Lake, it took under three hours to reach the summit. Colin stayed on Warriors summit while I traversed over to Mt. Cordonnier.
