This is a fun scrambles. Relativly short approach and nice views. We reached the upper valley within 30 min. The hike to the top of the col takes over an hour. The ridge leading to the summit is tricky and exposed. You can traverse below the ridge on the right side. It's not as exposed this way, but loose in places.

July 19, 02- Looking back down from the top of the col. Basically right after you leave the highway, you are above the treeline. We stuck to slab rock where possible, other areas have loose scree.

July 19, 02- Looking across the valley to Mt. Storelk under a July blue sky.

July 19, 02- This is the ridge leading to the summit. We stayed below the ridge traversing on scree.

July 19, 02- Leading up to the final rockband before the summit.

July 19, 02- Relaxing on top thinking about the alternate descent route.

July 19, 02- Here is Colin descending slab and scree on the descent.

July 19, 02- From the summit we descended this face. It is steep from the ridge to the valley and the descent was very quick. I would recommend coming down this route.

July 19, 02- Finally back into the valley after an intense scramble. The grass looks greener.

July 19, 02- Washing the sweat and stench off.
